Just like the Jews could not see the Shekinah glory in the Old Testament but could see a manifestation of His presence, so we can reveal the Shekinah glory or the indwelling of Christ to the world and to each other through our body, the temple of the living God.

It is our privilege and responsibility to rest in Him where He is, because that is where we are positioned in Him.

At the same time He abides in us here below, by means of the Spirit.

Reciprocal union =
we are in Him; He is in us, the ultimate oneness.

God has one primary way of revealing Himself today, and that it is “Christ in you.”

He has no other way of showing Himself to men except as Christ lives in us; not by the Shekinah glory in the temple built with hands of men, but in lives redeemed and freed as they walk about in this dark world with Christ living in them.

1PE 1:8 and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
1PE 4:14 If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

1JO 2:6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

We are to love our enemies, MAT 5:44.
We are to forgive as Jesus forgave, COL 3:13.
Be kind towards those who hate us, MAT 5:44.
We are to be overcomers – more than conquerors, ROM 8:37.

We are to give thanks in all things, believing that all things, even those which shatter our hopes and dreams, are working together for our good,
ROM 8:28; EPH 5:20.

We are to be anxious for nothing, PHI 4:6.
We are to rejoice in the Lord always, PHI 4:4.

PHI 4:8 From now on, [members of the Royal Family of God,] whatever is true [doctrinal], whatever is honorable [noble or worthy of respect], whatever is just [fair or right], whatever is pure [of proper motivation], – whatever personal loves exist, whatever is commendable, if there is any virtue [and there is for the mature believer says the first class condition] and if anything worthy of praise [and there is for the mature believer says the first class condition], be concentrating on these things.

ISA 6:5 “Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips,”
PSA 46:10 “Cease striving and know that He is God;”

MAT 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light.”

Your health is based on your genetics, metabolism, allergies, environment, common sense, mental attitude, but it has nothing to do with your spiritual life.

It’s been more than a month since I became a pastor…and I’ve had some time to reflect on the enormity of the task ahead…I wanted to give you a glimpse of the mind of a new pastor…because it has a lot of relevance and similarity to the thoughts being taught from this pulpit over the last month…

This is my tenth trip to my Pastor’s Pulpit. It all started on March 24, 2006, and less than two years later I’m ordained, embarking on a career that is dream come true…

When I was called to Pastor’s pulpit for the first time, my thought was,
“I can’t believe it!” One month after ordination my thought was the exact opposite…
“I CAN believe it!…Totally!”

Why?
In reflection, I realized as a Christian, I have
Friends in High Places
As Christians, we come to know that God keeps on putting everything in place for our
spiritual success…

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places
in Christ…EPH 1:3
These are the things I have been reflecting on in the last month…

How did I go from
“I Can’t Believe It”
to
“I CAN believe it…Totally!”
in less than two years?

Let’s reflect together….
We are indwelled by
the Shekinah Glory…

“In that day you will know that I (Jesus Christ) am in My Father, and you (believers are) in (union with) Me, and I in you.”
JOH 14:20

God the Father is perfecting us,
and it has nothing to do with us…

For I am confident of this very thing, that He (God the Father) who began a (divine) good work in you will perfect it until the day of
Christ Jesus.
PHI 1:6

God the Holy Spirit is the one who keeps on mentoring us…

“But I (Jesus) tell you (believers) the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper (God the Holy Spirit) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
JOH 16:7

We have a shepherd in
the Lord Jesus Christ…The LORD Jesus Christ is the one who keeps on shepherd me, I can not lack anything.PSA 23:1

We are indwelled by the entire Trinity…Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are
not your own? 1CO 6:19

And do not be conformed
to this world (Satan’s cosmic system), but (keep on)
be(ing) transformed by the renewing of your mind (the
renovation of your thinking)…ROM 12:2a

We have the same power system that sustained Christ
in His first advent…
“Just as (God) the Father has loved Me (Jesus Christ), I have also loved you (believers); abide in My love (my system of power).” JOH 15:9

We will never get
what we deserve…But God (the Father) demonstrates His own love toward us (all mankind), in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died
(as a substitute) for us.
ROM 5:8

God is ALWAYS there for us…The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble…PSA 9:9
We don’t have to see it to believe it…It is vain for you to rise up early, To retire late, To eat the bread of painful labors; For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.
PSA 127:2
Satan has no power over us…even when we are resident in His system, we are not His…

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.1JO 4:4
For you have been bought with a price…therefore glorify God in your body.
1CO 6:20

We are priests and can stand up boldly to represent ourselves before God…But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION , A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light…1PE 2:9

Therefore let us (believers) draw near with confidence (boldness) to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. HEB 4:16
We are ambassadors, hand picked to represent God
in a foreign kingdom…Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
2CO 5:20

We are saints…(From Paul) to all who are beloved of God (believers in Christ) in Rome, called as saints…Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ROM 1:7
We are holy and blameless…yet He (Jesus Christ) has now reconciled you (believers) in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him (God the Father) holy and blameless and beyond reproach…COL 1:22

We have absolute righteousness…+R
He (God the Father) made Him (Jesus Christ) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God (+R) in Him.
2CO 5:21
We are in union with Christ…In Him , you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation — having also believed, you were sealed in (union with) Him with the Holy Spirit of promise…EPH 1:13

We are adopted as adults…For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
ROM 8:15
We are able to LOVE our enemies…”But I (Jesus Christ) say to you (believers in Christ),
love your enemies (unconditionally) and pray for those who
persecute you…”MAT 5:44

We are eternally secure…and I (Jesus Christ) give eternal life to them (believers in Christ) , and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. JOH 10:28
We can intervene in human circumstances with prayer…“And all things you (believers in Christ) ask in prayer , believing, you will receive.” MAT 21:22

At a point in the Christian Way of Life, if we keep up with the reception, retention and recall of bible doctrine…the rate of remembering doctrine starts to exceed the rate of forgetting doctrine…and as we reflect, as I have in the last month, we realize and we wonder…

To what conclusion are we forced, face to face with these things? If God is for us, and He is, who can be against us? ROM 8:31
We begin to realize that the only answer to any question in this life revolves around following His instructions and waiting for Him to come through…
But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today…” EXO 14:13a

I realize, like Moses, and like all them men who teach from this and other doctrinal pulpits in the world…of which Barah Ministries is one…I am seeking as David was seeking and long to hear this…‘I (Jesus Christ) HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY HEART, who will do ALL My will.’ ACT 13:22

And I can do it, not because of me, but because… I’VE GOT FRIENDS
IN HIGH PLACES
