The relationship and correlation between the Doctrine of the Royal Family Honor Code and how it relates to putting on the Breastplate of Righteousness.

The next piece of equipment which we are to put on, which is the combat shoes or the footwear,
EPH 6:15.

We are not just dealing with being prepared for the execution of the PPOG, we are dealing with preparation for spiritual warfare.

Evangelism is related to the fact that at the moment of salvation you became an ambassador for Jesus Christ and you actually represent TLJC in His spiritual army.

While there is the spiritual gift of evangelism given to a few, there is the responsibility of evangelism given to every believer as an ambassador for Christ.

First, the spiritual gift of evangelism called the Evangelist in presenting the Gospel.

EPH 4:11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,

Second, the spiritual gift of the pastor-teacher, presenting the Gospel.

Third is the believer as an ambassador for Jesus Christ actually communicating the Gospel to those in his vicinity.

“What is the biblical analogy or the spiritual application to these combat shoes that are mentioned in EPH 6:15?”

The combat shoes or the Roman sandal, as it was called, provided the Roman soldier with a firm hold, to prevent him from sliding and slipping or falling from the solid ground he was standing upon.

In the spiritual realm, this sliding and slipping can come from arrogance as Paul warns us about in 1CO 10:12 where he writes Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

GAL 5:4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

In 1TI 4:1, it can be form slipping and sliding away from doctrine in the last days, But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,

In HEB 3:12, not standing on solid ground and falling away from the living God, Take care, brethren, lest there should be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart, in falling away from the living God.

In 2PE 3:17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard lest, being carried away by the error of unprincipled men, you fall from your own steadfastness,

The feet or the combat shoes of the Christian soldier is to be protected against the traps that were camouflaged and hidden by Satan and the kingdom of darkness in order to try and trap and deceive us to have to deal with the strategies of the devil.

The analogy is that in the spiritual realm, the feet should be on the solid ground of the gospel and that the believer be protected against the subtle traps of Satan as the devil and as the god of this world.

This has a direct relationship with the combat boots and the shoes for the feet of the Christian soldier and the principle of the footstool of the feet in the realm of the angelic conflict.

Having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace as EPH 6:15 states with the victory of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ and His work on the cross are intimately related.

For it was the victory on the cross where the sin issue was dealt with once and for all where TLJC won the victory over sin forever and ever in the realm of the angelic conflict.

For those of you who are serious students of the Word of God, you need to understand operation footstool and how it relates to the combat shoes and operation footstool in the angelic conflict.

1. We have the phrase in EPH 6:15 given to the Christian soldier having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

2. The combat shoes are related to the Gospel which inevitably points to the feet or literally, in the realm of the angelic conflict, analogous to a footstool for our Lord’s feet.

There is a direct relationship with the combat shoes on our feet which concerns salvation on the cross, as well as the washing of the feet in the upper room discourse concerning rebound and then operation footstool concerning the victory in the realm of the angelic conflict in the eternal state.

In MAT 22:44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Until I put Thine enemies beneath Thy feet.”

In MAR 12:36 “David himself said in the Holy Spirit, #’The Lord said to my Lord,” Sit at My right hand, Until I put Thine enemies beneath Thy feet.

In LUK 20:42-43, “For David himself says in the book of Psalms, #’The Lord said to my Lord,” Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet.

It was such an important doctrine that Peter mentioned it in his first sermon to over 3,000 Jews in ACT 2:34-35, “For it was not David who ascended into heaven, but he himself says: #’The Lord said to my Lord,” Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet.

Concerning the angelic conflict in HEB 1:13 But to which of the angels has He ever said, #”Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies A footstool for Thy feet”?

In HEB 8:12, the Lord says “For I will be merciful to their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.”

In HEB 10:17, the Lord says “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Satan loves to blind, especially guilty believers, from passages like MIC 7:18-19, which says “Who is a God like thee, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession?” “Yes you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”

The specific truth concerning the work of the cross is the fact that PSA 103:12 says As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

In ISA 38:17c which says “For You have cast all their sins behind Your back.”

In PSA 103:10 “He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.”

In PSA 65:3b “As for our transgressions Thou dost forgive them.”

ISA 43:25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake [because of my honor and integrity]. Furthermore, I will not remember your sin.”

PSA 85:2 “You did forgive the iniquity of Your people; You did cover all their sin.”

In EZE 16:63 the Lord said to people who were involved with the grossest sins you could imagine “I will forgive you for allthat you have done”

In ROM 4:7 Paul even quoted David in Psa 32 when he said “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven and whose sins have been covered.”

ROM 4:8 “Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account.”

In ROM 11:27 He will take away our sins…

“Well, what have I done to have all my sins paid for and forgiven?”

The answer is nothing.

1JO 2:12 says that Your sins are forgiven for His names sake.

The cross reveals the character and nature of a loving, caring and gracious Creator toward His creatures.

COL 2:14 Having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was hostile to us and He has taken it out of the way having nailed it to the cross.”

COL 2:15 When [at the cross] he [God the Father] had disarmed the rulers and authorities [the fallen angels],

COL 2:15 When [at the cross] he [God the Father] had disarmed the rulers and authorities [the fallen angels], He [the Father] made a public display over them [the fallen angels]

While God the Father was cancelling our debt on the cross (vs 14), the whole satanic system of falling angels, superior to man, was also being disarmed and neutralized at the cross, (vs 15).

Satan appealed his first judgment in eternity past and the cross was the place of his second judgment!

COL 2:15 When he had disarmed the rulers and authorities, or demon archons and commissioned officers… next it says he made a public display over them.

He made a public display Is the aor-act-ind of deigmatizo which means at a certain point of time he began to make a show of them openly. Deigmatizo means to display the captives.

Having triumphed is the aor-act-part of thriambeuo and the verb actually means to lead a Triumphal Procession or making some kind of a special exhibition.

Operation footstool – which began the Triumphal Procession in heaven and will include with a Triumphal Procession on earth at the Second Advent of Jesus Christ.

A custom in the ancient world after winning a war was to bring the captives back and it was called a Triumphal Procession or a march through the city of Rome.

When TLJC was resurrected three days after the cross, He was on the earth for 40 days and then He ascended to the right hand of the Father.

When TLJC arrived in the presence of the Father, He arrived as the conquering general and in front of Him was Satan and all demons were in the triumphal procession as captives.

So that there was a moment on the earth when things were pretty quiet because all the demons were paraded by TLJC as He sat upon that throne.

The fallen angels went back to their activities because they will be executed as it were at the Second Advent which is Operation Footstool.

When our Lord arrived in heaven he heard that famous quote from God the Father, “Sit down at my right hand till I make your enemies your footstool”.
