What it means to be initiated into the secret of the mystery. Part 101. The antagonism of the world system toward believers and Bible doctrine. Part 4.

2TI 2:15 Be diligent in studying to present yourself approved to God, as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of Truth.
2TI 4:2 Preach the Word. Be ready in season and out of season. Therefore, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all patience and instruction.

That is what we can expect from a world that is out of touch with God and out of union with TLJC because there is disunion between the believer and the world.

There is union with Christ and union with fellow believers, but because of this hate there is disunion with the world.

“Ho kosmos” = “the world”
Kosmos = an organized system.

1. It is a system of thought designed by Satan himself, who is the greatest creature genius, of all creature history.
It includes everything from religion, to systems of government, political thought, concepts of life.

2. The world = a system of organizations.
Organizations, like international organizations, religious organizations, and so on.

3. A system of people, or a category of people. “World” = the unbelievers, Joh 17.

a. A system of thought, satanic.
b. Organizations, satanic, like international organizations.
c. The world of unbelievers.

1. Verse 18, because the kosmos system hates Christ.

2. Because once a person is in the plan of God, as a believer priest, they no longer belong to the world.

COL 1:13 For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
PHI 3:20 For our citizenship [politeuma, or heavenly privilege] exists in heaven, from which place we eagerly anticipate the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

GAL 4:26 But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother.
EPH 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household,

Billions and billions of years ago, when election was put into operation, EPH 1:4-5, you were snatched out of the kosmos or the cosmic system.

In one second of time at the moment of salvation, whatever Satan thinks of you up to that moment, he despises you the second that you believe in Christ.

Not only does he despise you, but the whole system despises you.

Pres-act-ind - misei - misei = it keeps on hating you.

There must be stability to stand up under this, and the stability is the erected structure of the soul, that causes you to stand up under the intense hatred, miseo of Satan, in kosmos diabolicos, and the agapao, love of God.

PHI 1:29 Because to you it has been graciously given with reference concerning Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on behalf of Him,
ROM 8:36 Just as it is written, “For Thy sake we are being put to death all day long [going through situations of death from the cosmos]; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

EPH 6:10-11 From now on, start becoming strong by means of the Lord, and in the strength of His might. Pick up and put on the full armor from God, that you may be able to hold your ground against the schemes or the strategies of the devil.

EPH 6:12 Because our struggle is not against blood [people’s souls] and flesh [their old sin nature], but against the rulers [archons like Abaddon and Beelzebub], against the powers [demon officers who have phenomenal authority], against - the world forces of this darkness [kosmokratoras - demons who specialize in possessing or influencing the cosmos or world rulers] against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places[spiritual forces of evil in the atmosphere around the earth, the stellar universe and in the presence of God].

EPH 6:13-14 Because of this, pick up and put on the full armor from God, that you may be able to hold your ground in the day when evil attacks you, even after you have achieved or accomplished everything, hold your ground. Because of this, hold your ground, [after you] have buckled on your combat gear around your waist by means of doctrine, and [after you] have put on the breastplate of righteousness,

EPH 6:15-18 [hold your ground] after you have put on your combat boots on your feet with readiness, preparation, or the equipment of the gospel of peace, in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,

(EPH 6:10) And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. (EPH 6:11) So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. (EPH 6:12) This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.

(EPH 6:13) Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. (EPH 6:14) Truth, righteousness, (EPH 6:15) peace, (EPH 6:16) faith, (EPH 6:17) and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon.

(EPH 6:18) In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

You have inner happiness, you have a relaxed mental attitude, you have the capacity to love in all three categories, and you have the mastery of the details of life.

3. Verse 20 - because the slave is not greater than his master.

MAT 10:38 “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.”
LUK 9:23 And He was saying to {them} all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”

Once you identify with someone and they become rejected by others, then it is only a matter of time when you will be rejected because of your identification with them.
