God’s desire is to protect His people, however, even though He will ultimately protect them His justice will not violate their free will.
One of the many natural laws that TLJC has put into operation to control human history = passive arrogance demands the function of active arrogance against it.
Negative volition, apostasy, and passive arrogance or indifference creates the vacuum which attracts the persecution of active arrogance, holocaust and historical disaster.
Evil demands evil and cruelty demands cruelty, and therefore passive arrogance demands the function of active arrogance against it.
Turn to REV 17:16
Through cosmic involvement these Jews have entered into a state of passive arrogance, which always attracts active arrogance.
ZEC 2:5 “For I,” declares the Lord, “will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.”
JER 2:19 “Your own wickedness will correct you, And your apostasies will reprove you; Know therefore and see that it is evil and bitter For you to forsake the Lord your God, And the dread of Me is not in you,” declares the Lord God of hosts.
ZEC 2:8b For thus says the Lord of hosts, he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.
MAL 3:17 “They [born-again Jews] are His jewels.”
ISA 62:3 “They [true Israel] are His crown of glory.”
Religion produces arrogance and ignorance, cruelty and persecution, which nullifies tolerance and substitutes cruelty.
Since a religious society cannot think or reason, it becomes emotional with blind arrogance.
Religion suppresses freedom: Spain in the middle ages.
Religion does not allow others to make mistakes, but persecutes them vigorously: Islam.
The woman, in past history was the Virgin Mary, but the woman in the tribulation is Israel.
Stood – perf-act-ind – histemi = to stand against in the sense of antagonism.
Genitive singular noun – gunaikos – gunaikoV”
= Israel.
REV 12:4 And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth = Israel at the time of the virgin birth, and Israel at the time of the tribulation.
One chance has been lost, it was to hinder the virgin birth, after the virgin birth to hinder Christ from going to the cross.
Satan thinks he can destroy all Israel so that there will be no Jew alive on the earth to receive the unconditional promises, the Davidic covenant, and the other promise, no Jews to restore or form a client nation for the Millennium, then he will have won his point.
When Adam was given a wonderful promise concerning the Messiah, and how Christ would come as the seed of the woman, Satan understood that and motivated Cain to murder Abel, Gen 4.
There was the demon genetic attack on the human race, GEN 6:1-13, which were attacks on Adam’s seed.
When Satan discovered that it was no longer Adam’s seed, because Adam’s seed was now very extensive and God had narrowed it down to Abraham’s seed, then he limited his attack.
Sarah wound up in the harem of an Egyptian king, GEN 12:10-20, but that did not work.
Pharaoh commanded to kill the entire male line of Israel, EXO 1:10-16, but that did not work.
Pharaoh attempted to annihilate Israel at the Red Sea, Exo 14.
There was the dilemma of Joseph when he discovered that Mary was pregnant, and later on Herod’s command to kill the royal line, MAT 2:13-18.
Aor-act-subj – tekein – tekein = to give birth.
Devour – aor-act-subj – katesthio = to devour, to eat completely; to totally destroy.
The efficiency of Gods plan – inordinate competition against it could never succeed and never will.
1. Inordinate competition.
2. Legitimate competition.
Inordinate competition results from having no personal sense of destiny, no control of one’s life, bad decisions from a position of weakness, and it always results in feeling threatened.
Inordinate competition is designed from the motivation of feeling threatened to put down other people.
They do not stand on their own merits, they stand on their demerits you have assigned to them, through gossip, maligning and other underhanded activities.
PRO 25:27 It is not good to eat much honey, Nor is it glory to search out one’s own glory.
PRO 27:2 Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips.
PRO 26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
Competition in the business world or in the athletic realm is legitimate, excellent, and advisable, but in the social, sexual or spiritual realm is a source of sin, evil and controversy.
Inordinate competition is found in social, sexual, and spiritual spheres of life.
Getting into social, sexual, spiritual competition destroys capacity for love in all categories.
An inordinate competitor always tries to put you down, and always finds a place to brag about taking advantage of you to others.
The reversionistic competitor does not adjust to the justice of God. He never functions on the grace principle that justice demands justice.
