Meet the Great Red Dragon. Part 4.
Sunday, May 4, 2003
Whenever you have a question about the seeming injustices of life, you must fall back on the justice of God and the fact that He can only be just.
His tail sweeping away one third of the angels in heaven = the prehistoric revolution which took place in heaven in which Satan convinced one-third of the fallen angels that God was unjust.
God cannot lie, TIT 1:2.
God cannot be unjust or unfair, DEU 32:4.
God cannot change, MAL 3:6.
He cannot say to any member of the body, I do not need you, 1CO 14:21.
God cannot be tempted by evil, JAM 1:13.
God cannot sin, 1JO 3:9.
2TI 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself.
1. For believers only: resurrection to eternal life. The resurrection body is eternal and permanent, superior to that of angelic creatures, DAN 12:2; JOH 5:24-29; 1CO 15:20-22;
REV 20:6,13.
2. The second resurrection is for unbelievers only who are cast into the lake of fire forever, MAT 25:41;
1CO 15:24; REV 20:5-15.
a. The direction for the first resurrection: eternal life.
b. The direction for the second resurrection: eternal condemnation and judgment.
JOH 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; He that believeth not the Son shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
Since all of the sins of the world were imputed to Christ and judged at the cross, God cannot judge them for their sins.
At the second resurrection they will have their deeds or their works judged.
One of the rules that God has established is that He will not violate the free will of man.
JAM 4:2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
The angelic conflict is about two kingdoms against each other, with the volition of humans being the issue.
ROM 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
God is just, righteous, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, love, immutable, veracity, sovereign, and eternal.
PSA 119:137 Righteous art Thou, O Lord, And upright are Thy judgments.
REV 19:2 His judgments are true and righteous;
DEU 32:4 “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.”
One is the mental attitude response.
2SA 22:31 “as for God His ways are blameless”
JOH 13:7 “what I do you do not realize now, but you shall understand hereafter.”
All of us must remember that there is a God in heaven Who is just and righteous and has everything under control.
