Meet the Great Red Dragon. Part 9. Satan threw off the harness and lost his greatness.

Successful human life = the variety of the ability on the part of the individual to produce energy, but energy without velocity in life is useless.
Energy must produce velocity – (going in the right direction and hitting the target you desire to hit).
Once you pull the pin on a grenade, and release the button, the grenade detonates and explodes in all directions.
Turn to LUK 12:49
Distressed – pres-pass-ind – sunechomai – sunevcomai = to be pressured or under stress.
Pulling the pin of the grenade is allowing the arrogance complex of sins or the emotional complex of sins to control your life.
Arrogance complex of sins = jealousy, bitterness, hatred, vindictiveness, implacability, self-pity, self-righteous arrogance, self-centeredness, motivational and functional revenge, slander, maligning, gossip, judging, inordinate ambition, and inordinate competition.
Emotional complex of sins = worry, anxiety, guilt, fear, tension, hysteria, panic, consternation, irrationality, anger, whining, sniveling, and neurosis.
Turn to EPH 4:31
Anger – orge and thumos.
“Orge” = mental anger. “Thumos” = emotional anger.
If your right lobe is dominating and you become angry you can react in mental anger (orge).
If your reaction is from emotion, then it is emotional anger (thumos).
Whenever you are faced with any problems or difficulties – will you pull the pin of the grenade and explode within and then without, or will you be like a bullet fired from a gun, going through the barrel with velocity carrying you toward the target?
Since all believers continue to possess the old sin nature after salvation, all of us are walking grenades.
Being tempted by the sin nature is not sin; it is only when volition pulls the pin of the grenade that the believer sins.
1CO 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.
Once a believer uses his volition to pull the pin in the grenade, he has fragmented his own life.
A believer’s energy must be harnessed and projected in the right direction.
Satan rejected the divine harness and became like a grenade ready to explode in numerous directions.
Bible doctrine is a harness because it restricts all of us in a manner which is beneficial for the spiritual life.
In that harness you are kind, thoughtful of others, expressing virtue and integrity from the dynamics of personal humility and sensitivity.
To see yourself as others see you is generally impossible.
For every person there is some area where it is very easy to become subjective, to become hypersensitive, to become preoccupied with self because that part of life is not harnessed.
We are all products of our own decisions, and you cannot have control of your life without a personal harness, and without the harness of self-discipline and humility, with Bible doctrine, you cannot have a personal sense of destiny.
REV 12:4 – the tail of the dragon represents the throwing off of the harness.
It will be a time of wrath, 1TH 5:9; REV 6:16-17.
A time of judgment, REV 14:7.
A time of indignation,
ISA 26:20-21; 34:1-3.
A time of punishment, ISA 24:20-21.
A time of trial, REV 3:10.
A time of trouble, JER 30:7.
A time of destruction, Joel 1:15.
A time of darkness, Joel 2:2; ZEP 1:14-18.
Satan was the first creature in all of history to throw off the harness, and in throwing off the harness, to reject every restriction, which had previously existed on himself.
He took one-third of God’s congregation with him, and as a result, when anyone throws off the harness, they can inevitably get others to go with them or join them.
The origin of these creatures were decisions from a position of weakness, and from those decisions came the tremendous concept of loss of control of their lives, followed by loss of a personal sense of destiny, which made them followers of Satan.
Pres-act-ind – surei – suvrei – “swept away” = to drag, or to pull.
They are lawless, they are without harness, and the basic characteristic of being without harness is arrogance.
Pres-act-ind – suro – “swept away” = to drag, or to pull.
The historical present of suro takes us back to the prehistoric angelic conflict and shows us when the highest angelic creature, at that time, Satan, went from a bullet to a walking grenade ready to pull the pin and explode.
Turn to JOB 38:1
“Man as a grenade is much less than a maggot.”
Turn to ISA 14:11
When the people of a nation throw off the harness they are self-destructive.
Satan weakens nations by getting people to throw off the harness.
