Who am I?
Where did I come from?
Why am I here?
Where am I going?
How do I get there?

2CO 4:3-4 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Whether their confusion results from a legalistic background or because skeptics in school or at work or in the media have turned them against God, the God they envision either does not exist or he looks nothing like the God revealed in the Bible.

I don’t how many of you have ever heard of the Bilderburg Group or the Illuminati, but they truly do exist. It is made up of 125 of the most powerful people in the world, such as the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, Dutch Royalty, British Royalty, and we know that they literally set the price of oil and decide who is going to be attacked.

They are openly pushing for the American Union, even Lou Dobbs of CNN has now talked about how he got his own documents last year, and it is all happening, the CFR, which is the Collateral Commission.

PSA 56:3 When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee. In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can {mere} man do to me?

I know that my God will keep you and me from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell upon the earth, REV 3:10.

1TH 1:10 to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

Those who gain a good understanding of the merciful God of the Bible are quick to turn to Him, where they find comfort in their time of desperation.

Knowing the true God – as He is revealed by the Hebrew prophets and by His Son, TLJC, can be the most comforting experience of life.

Even though “God is Spirit,” JOH 4:24, and “No one has seen God at any time,” JOH 1:18, God has given us many ways to come to know Him.

PSA 19:1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

Certainly the marvels of creation prove that He exists, that He is all-powerful, and that He is the Master Designer of all things. Creation does not tell us much of who God is – what He is like, how He feels, and whether He is for us or against us.

The apostle Paul spoke of two ways to know God: through the revelation the Lord has given of Himself through the Hebrew prophets and through God’s only begotten Son, TLJC, who came into this world not only to die for the sins of mankind but also to reveal God as their Father.

The Bible calls TLJC the exact representation of His nature or the “express image” of God.

When TLJC walked on this earth, everything He did expressed the true nature of God. His attitude toward children reflected the Father’s attitude toward those who are totally dependent of our world.

MAR 10:14 “Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

When the Savior felt the hurt and sorrow of His friends and their unbelief He wept, JOH 11:35.

He saw the sorrow of Mary and Martha at the death of their brother, Lazarus, and He revealed Himself to be completely in tune with human sorrows, grief, and hurts, HEB 4:15.

By doing all of this, He revealed how God the Father responds when we hurt.

Do not view God as a cruel taskmaster, standing at the gate of heaven to keep people out. Instead, see Him as the loving, merciful heavenly Father – just as described by the prophets and TLJC, His Son – who stands at the gate of heaven, seeking to draw the greatest possible number of men and women in.

2PE 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
1TI 2:4 He desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

JOH 3:14 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;”
JOH 12:32 “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.”

The Word of God remains the only reliable source of who and what God is – and only there can we discover the wonderful plan He has in store for humanity.

When many folks ponder the Bible’s predictions about the future, they often dredge up mental images of terrifying calamities, as well as grim scenes of a furious God flinging one bolt of judgment after another at trembling sinners.

Prophecies of hard times and coming judgment do not comfort people; they frighten them.

TLJC Himself, speaking of “the end,” told his disciples that when that time comes, “Nations will be in anguish and perplexity… Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.”
