ROM 8:26 And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;
God’s timing is always so vital and so important in our lives; the Lord leads this individual to go to this particular group, and he begins to minister to them.
In conjunction with the various people who are fulfilling the plan of God in that place, he is going to begin a ministry.
As always any ministry that is called by God and God-ordained is going to run into opposition.
ISA 54:17 “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.
2CO 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.
We know without any question that all who desire to live godly in Christ are going to suffer persecution, but the great thing is, if we continue to follow the plan of God and persist, in obedience to His Word and His will, we know we have the final victory.
These two particular individuals orchestrate the opposition against the work that God has ordained, and they follow all of the typical tactics and methods of those that want to oppose the truth.
As the work continues, we find them first of all trying to act like they’re a part of it;
they try to come in and pretend that they’re interested, and then we find that they try to use bully tactics;
When that doesn’t work, they start circulating letters, and the letters are based on all kinds of various attacks etc trying to intimidate the group; they use a threat of force.
1CO 16:13-14 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
GAL 5:1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
