The new things that have come: The Divine power of God. Part 2.
Sunday, June 27, 2010
This is also a part of the will of God especially concerning the 10 times that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart as found in such passages as: EXO 4:21; EXO 7:3; EXO 7:13; EXO 9:12; EXO 10:1; EXO 10:20; EXO 10:27;EXO 11:10; EXO 14:4-8; EXO 14:17. Ten times in all; and it wasn’t just merely foreknown or foretold by the Lord but actually caused and effected by Him.
In the last five passages it is continually stated that “Jehovah hardened Pharaoh’s heart.” It is also stated just as often that Pharaoh hardened his own heart, or made it heavy or firm.
Prin-According to this, the hardening of Pharaoh’s heart was quite as much his own act as the decree of God.
From his own volition or free will, Pharaoh chose to reject the word of God when it was presented to him in such a powerful way, namely the ten plagues.
The decree of God determined for him to stay alive when he should have been totally destroyed.
It is not until after the sixth plague that it is stated that Jehovah made the heart of Pharaoh firm,
EXO 9:12.
EXO 9:12, And the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had spoken to Moses.
The first 5 plagues were a test for Pharaoh to give him the opportunity to believe in Adonai Elohenu,
Adonai Echad
The Lord is our God, the Lord is one or unique.
JOH 7:17, “If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or {whether} I speak from Myself.”
JER 29:13, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
HEB 11:6, And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
ROM 9:19, You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?”
If you do not know the plan or the will of God for the Church-age, then how are you ever going to fulfill the will of God and not fall into the category of resisting His will.
1. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
2. The dispensation of the unique PPOG.
3. Unique Equality in the PPOG.
4. The Unique Portfolio of Invisible Assets.
5. The two Unique Royal Commissions for every Church Age Believer, the royal priesthood - the royal ambassadorship.
6. The body of the Church-age believer being indwelt by each person of the Trinity.
7. The Unique Availability of Divine Power.
God the H.S. making light shine in our hearts is a reference to divine power in action within ourselves.
We would not even be able to understand the knowledge of the glory of God if it were not for the ministry of God the Holy Spirit.
Divine power is especially at work when we are learning Bible doctrine having it metabolized in our hearts.
By the omnipotence or the divine power of God the Holy Spirit, the delegated power of God for our perception, metabolization, and utilization of Bible doctrine inside the PPOG.
We have a treasure in earthen vessels or in our human body:
HEB 4:12; For the word of God is alive and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword.
The Greek word for treasure
is the noun thesauros - meaning a place in which good and precious things are collected and stored up, a place filled with valuables.
Your human Spirit is your treasury and the place where good and precious things are collected and stored up and a place filled with valuables.
