"The new things that have come, The indwelling of the Trinity, Part 3.".

Friday, April 16, 2010

We have noted this week that the indwelling of God the Father is a guarantee of His personal ministry to every Church-age believer, both in time and in eternity past.

We do not know what tomorrow may bring or what we’re going to need in the future,
but God does.

There will never be sufficient changes in your life until you work closely with God the Father and His plan for your life.

Notice that the difference between those who can stand the rain, the floods, the winds and those who can’t is because one group applied what they heard the other group, did not.

At some point in our lives, we all have contact with a prodigal son or what we could call a rebel, one who defiantly goes his or her way even if it contradicts the plan of God as well as reason and experience.

One who rebels against God is turning away from the Giver of wisdom who provides solid advice for handling life.

ISA 29:24, They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

Solomon learned this lesson the hard way, rather than listen to God’s command not to associate with foreign women, Solomon disobeyed by marrying many non-Israelites who eventually turned his devotion away from the Lord, 1KI 11:1-4.

God disciplined him by raising up foreign adversaries who brought much turmoil to his final years as Israel’s ruler (1Ki 11).

His search for happiness under the sun uncovered only vanity and despair.

This means that you didn’t realize the calling of God upon your life or the privilege of receiving the divine invitation to participate in the greatest victory ever won.

PRO 4:23, Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it {flow} the springs of life.

PRO 23:26, Give me your heart, my son, And let your eyes delight in my ways.

a. The sealing ministry of the Holy Spirit.
b. The indwelling of the person of Jesus Christ.

The indwelling of Christ as the shekinah glory is one of the two major guarantees that God has provided for you
your very own
pre-designed plan filled with escrow blessings.

(1) The prophecies of the indwelling of Christ, which is the fact that the Messiah would come and live within us.
(2) There is also a very vital principle of doctrine concerning our Lord’s prayer in Joh 17.

The verification of the indwelling of Christ and our Lord’s prayer for the Church is found in at least 3 verses inJOH 17:22, 23, 26.

(3) The indwelling of TLJC is also related to the pre-designed plan of God for the Church-age.
(4) The indwelling of Christ is also related to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit;
ROM 8:9-11, 1JO 3:23-24; 2CO 6:16.

1JO 3:23-24, And this is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. And the one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And we know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

2CO 6:16, Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

(5) The indwelling of Christ is also related to the Baptism of the Spirit,
GAL 2:20, I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.
(6) The doctrine of the indwelling of Christ is also used as a test of your doctrine.
