SOL `1:6b  "My mother's sons were angry with me; They made me caretaker of the vineyards, But I have not taken care of my own vineyard.”

  1. And so far we have noted that the Lord is called the “True Vine” because True refers to His character and nature or His divine essence and that is why He is called the God of Truth; Deu 32:4.

One of the frustrations of trying to communicate the word of God to people is that there always seems to be someone or something that tries to discourage others from going forward and becoming weary.

  1. To those who become weary, the Lord promises divine strength for those who wait; ISA 40:29 He gives strength to the weary, and to {him who} lacks might He increases power.
  2. Patience is needed to handle weariness, Isa 40:31 those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.
  3. Satan and the kingdom of darkness tries to wear down the saints of God; Dan 7:25 “And he will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One.”
  4. Our Lord also told us about becoming weary and heavy-laden and if we do, He tells us to come to Him; Mat 11:28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy‑laden, and I will give you rest.
  5. The apostle Paul said that to those who grow weary not to fret, but wait for the Lord and you will reap what you sow; GAL 6:9 And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.

Do not lose heart or become weary in doing good because in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.

  1. The ultimate principle concerning becoming weary is the principle of motivation which that comes to the believer who needs to endure undeserved suffering; HEB 12:3.

HEB 12:3  For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

  1. Why are some people so weary and bitter and angry that they will attack another believer and then justify the attack by saying God told them to do it?

“I’m doing the Lord’s will and I am standing up for the truth”  says the self-righteous individuals because they think that they are so much better than you and me and others.

Would you be “salt of the earth” or “lights to the world.”

Please notice that they think they’re offering service to God by attacking us.

There’s no absolute dogmatic correct answer, whether one says yes or whether one says no, we should all have the same right and the same privacy to make up our own minds.

  1. Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God?

 There has to be a set of rules which we have to follow so that when we need to make certain decisions, we can make them according to the Rules or the Word of God.

  1. Do you believe that our Lord always taught the truth?Not only did our Lord teach the truth but He also  lived in that truth and taught His followers how to rebound and recover not personally for Himself because of us.

  1. Do you believe the words of our Lord when He said “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.”
  2. Do you believe the words of the apostle Paul when he said that the Lord told him that he was persecuting and attacking the Lord because whatever he did to the Lord’s people, he did unto the Lord.

JOH 15:13  "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”

No one can touch another believer without touching the Lord?

  1. Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God?
  2. Do you believe that our Lord always taught the truth?
  3. Do you believe the words of our Lord when He said “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.”
  4. Do you believe the words of the apostle Paul when he said that the Lord told him that he was persecuting and attacking the Lord because whatever he did to the Lord’s people, he did unto the Lord.

This was the Apostle Paul using the right bait to catch fishers of man as in MAT 4:19, where our Lord said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."

Being a spiritual fisherman and using the correct bait also allows us to live like our Lord said, in MAT 10:16  be shrewd as serpents, and meek as doves.

MAT 10:16   "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; therefore, be shrewd as serpents, and innocent as doves.”

1TI 6:4, beware of the arrogant individuals who are conceited and understand nothing; but they have a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions,

1TI 6:5  and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness [eusebeia] is a means of gain.

The apostle Paul was very much interested in all those he spoke to because his heart was like our Lord’s which was to save mankind and then teach them how to live in the spiritual life.

Does it say, “be humble and let others win the prize?”
“Be humble, let others run all over you?”

Does it say whoever slaps you on your right cheek, give them the other cheek also.

If anyone wants to sue you, and take your shirt, let them win and take advantage over you.

ECC 3:1  There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven‑‑

There’s a time to plant,  and a time to uproot what is planted.
A time to kill, and a time to heal;

A time to tear down, and a time to build up.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;

A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones;

A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing.
A time to search, and a time to give up as lost;

A time to keep, and a time to throw away.
A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together;

A time to be silent, and a time to speak.
A time to love, and a time to hate;

A time for war, and a time for peace.
There is a time for everything that we face.

I run in such a way,
I’m not without aim;
I box in such a way,
not beating the air;”

disqualified – adokimos which means to fail a test, to not be approved; to be tested and fail.

If we are not living the spiritual life, then there is really no reason for us to remain on this earth unless God has plans for us, which He does,  says Eph 2:10.

The next decision is a simple one to perceive and understand but it is also a difficult one to apply unless you take advantage of your invisible assets and use the power of God.

1TI 5:13  And at the same time they also learn {to be} idle, as they go around from house to house; and not merely idle, but also gossips and busybodies, talking about things not proper {to mention.}

The word idle is the Greek adjective argos which means to become lazy; slothful; useless; careless; ineffective,  without works that express faith and therefore,  "worthless."

No matter what type of trials or tribulations or disasters that come our way, the Lord has already provided the solution to that problem in eternity past.
