1. The first law for prosperity - “Always keep God first,” MAT 6:33.
Relationship with God must have priority over relationship with people.
The reason = he allows family, friends, and others to guilt and manipulate him into action.
Families are wonderful, but doctrine and your relationship with God must be “more” important to you than even your family.
The issue: Is Bible doctrine more important to you than the most intimate ties of life?
The greatest issue is always doctrine vs the details of life.
Whether it is family, friends, loved ones, success, pleasure, social life, sex, status symbols, materialism, or wealth.
It is the adverb “proton” which is the adverb of priority.
PRO 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Putting the hand to the plow has the idea of beginning some activity requiring close attention but then to change one’s mind about proceeding!
1KI 18:21 “How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.”
DEU 30:19 I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live,
JOS 24:15 And if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve:
Cannot - pres-pass-ind - dunamai = to be unable.

2CO 13:5 Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves!
1) “Do I actually place God ahead of each member of my family?”
2) “Is God always more important to me than my friends?”
3) “Do I spend more time seeking God each day than I do watching television or enjoying hobbies?”
