Patience in executing your primary assets despite satanic opposition. Pastor Joe Sugrue.

Wednesday, October 11, 2006

All of us have equal privilege and equal opportunity under election and predestination.

When the believer exploits these primary assets the secondary assets become available to him.

When the believer takes advantage of his primary assets the doors of opportunity that are secondary assets have been swung open by God.

Because of your basic training and application of the primary assets the eyes of your soul have now been enlightened so that you can see these doors when God brings them into your path.

“standard” is the dative of kanoni, which refers to the standard or rule of Bible doctrine.

Matt 16:25 For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake shall find it.

Patience is difficult for members of the human race because of strong desires.

By means of metabolized doctrine under the filling of the Holy Spirit we can know exactly what the devil’s schemes are.

PSA 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.

ROM 14:20 All things indeed are clean, but they are evil for the man who eats and gives offense.

With a solid foundation of Bible Doctrine you will realize that the desires in your heart are legitimate gifts from God.

All but one of those desires will never ever give you the true happiness that you earnestly seek.

Eccl 3:11 He has made everything meaningful in its time. He has also set the desire for eternal things in their heart, without which (the setting of the desire for eternal things) man cannot find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.

Eccl 12:13-14 The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

Eccl 12:1 Remember also (act decisively on) your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, “I have no delight in them”;

How often do you intently listen to the word of God as it is taught by your right pastor-teacher?

The Christian way of life is defined as being a “relationship with God”.

1 Cor 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

2 Cor 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;

Ezek 34:31 “As for you, My sheep, the sheep of My pasture, you are men, and I am your God ,” declares the Lord GOD.

Faith in Christ for salvation cleans me forever. I just need to keep washing my feet by means of the rebound technique.

Bible doctrine must be your number one priority and you must hear it daily.

The virtues of the Christian way of life must be learned and applied so that love can be developed for God and the bretheren, and also for the whole world.

Wisdom must be established through the application of Bible doctrine to life’s circumstances.

Confident expectation of the future must be ingrained in the soul of the believer so that minor set backs will not become major setbacks.

Fairly early in this process the virtue of humility must be established.

Humility begins as enforced humility which in turn will be matured into genuine humility.

After learning and believing the foundation of doctrine you will gain rapport with your Savior and live in rhapsody with Him.

When you get some spiritual momentum as a young believer or even an older believer he is constantly on the prowl to scheme against you in order to stop your momentum.

Satan schemes to get you to operate in human power and human wisdom, especially after a great spiritual victory, 1 Chr 21:1-3.

LEV 26:8 five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword.

Satan schemes to accuse believers, Job 1-2; Zech 3:1-2.

Satan schemes to get believers to operate in their own power, Mat 4; Luk 4.

Satan schemes to influence other believers to hinder your personal sense of destiny, Matt 16:21-23.

Satan schemes to distract you while you’re hearing God’s word.

Mark 4:15 And these are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.

Satan asks permission in heaven to kick your behind. But your Great Lawyer in heaven steps in.

Satan schemes to make you show yourself to be at a certain stage of spirituality when you’re not.

Satan will attempt to distract your marriage by intruding on the intimacy that the husband and wife should share.
