A garrison is a military post, especially one that is permanently established.
1. Frame of Reference = the entrance or entryway or antechamber of the heart as the first place where metabolized doctrine goes.
“you” = humas = all of you, you all, or all of you disciples in context.
Satan demanded permission it is a past transaction; you are already given over to him, to the extent of his petition to be allowed to sift you.
When the transaction between God and Satan was completed, all of them were given over to Satan for sifting; but the transaction between God and TLJC was completed too, for the Father always hears the Son, JOH 9:31
Our enemy is an unseen enemy and the Church-age is the intensified stage of the angelic conflict and therefore many things take place in the invisible realm.
2CO 2:11 “in order that no advantage be taken of us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.”
Nothing is more necessary for the mature believer than to understand the wisdom and power from God especially when we are faced with internal adversaries.
Not only does the kingdom of darkness try to put things in our mind but in reality their best work is done by keeping things out – namely doctrinal viewpoint.
Without doctrine resident in the soul and obedience to that doctrine all of us are in danger of the craftiness and deceitfulness of the devil.
2. Memory Center = the place for recall of Bible doctrine.
You associate things in your frame of reference and then remember them from the function of the memory center.
Delight eshtaasha to stroke, to be smeared over, to sport, to dandle, to caress, to make intimate love.
statues choq something prescribed, an ordinance, it refers to doctrine in the rooms of the soul, the memory center.
JER 23:29 “Is not My word like fire? declares the Lord, and like a hammer which shatters a rock?”
This is the pressure that came to him from not being able to handle the prosperity test and being indifferent and careless about the spiritual life.
JOH 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and {that} your fruit should remain,”
rescue chalats to deliver, to equip for fight; to strengthen, to arm for war, to set free; not to change the situation but to neutralize the situation.
Memory is the mental capacity of retaining unconscious traces of conscious impressions and of recalling those traces to consciousness with perception.
At different times something will trigger your memory and suddenly you will recall things or an event or a person or a situation which floods into your conscious mind.
Everyone has some bad memories, and part of the blessing of the Peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, is it will guard your memory center from those negative thoughts.
