The perfect timing of a Perfect God. Part 2. Pastor Joe Sugrue.

Sunday, October 1, 2006

The right thing that God did for you in the right way will never change. He finished the book that is your life before you were born. The Lie in the world is that we have to write our own.

Life is not what we make it, but how we take it.
God has done for you. He doesn’t ask us to do for Him.

PSA 89:14 He is Justice and Righteousness, and grace and truth.

Pro 8 that the truth was His blueprint; His guide as He formed the earth and humanity.

In JOH 3:16, His motivation is love.
In Psa 139, His omnipotence and omnipresence.
In DEU 33:27, He is eternal, never taken by surprise.
In Isa 55, no one can over-rule Him.
In Jam 1 we saw that He will not change.

Capacity is the ability to be filled.

We actually gain much capacity in many areas at the moment of salvation.

By means of our faith in Christ we receive 40 things at salvation. The Imputed Righteousness of Christ gives us capacity for those things.

By means of that one moment of faith all of us receive primary assets which are equal privilege and equal opportunity under election and predestination.

Under Election your equal privilege is your royal priesthood, and your equal opportunity is your logistical grace support.

Under predestination your equal opportunity is the PPOG, and your equal privilege is the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

God’s essence puts Him as the Sovereign head. And it is He who developed your life. And therefore He must have done for you.

Life is not what we make it, but how we take it.

Eulogetos = worthy of praise and glorification. God deserves to be praised and glorified because of who and what He is.

“has blessed us” is the aor-act-part of eulogeo. This a compound verb with “eu” = good and the verb “lego” = to say or speak.

God has spoken well of you. God has said that you are good. Eulogeo means to praise and to bless.

The aorist tense means that God did this in eternity past. He had infinity to figure a way, under an infinite number of conditions, to praise and bless you.
The active voice means that God performed the action of the verb.
The participle has a tremendous meaning in this verse.

The preposition kata plus the aor-mid-ind of the verb eklegomai which means to chose, to select, or to elect. “Ek,” which means out from, and “lego,” which means to say or to speak.

It is interesting, but no mistake, that the word blessing is “lego good” and your election is “lego out.”

Election for the church age believer is not just an escape from the slave market of sin, but it is also a calling to tremendous privilege and blessing.

Ps 67:5-7
Let the peoples praise Thee, O God;
Let all the peoples praise Thee.
The earth has yielded its produce;
God , our God , blesses us.
God blesses us, That all the ends of the earth may fear Him.

The aor-mid-ind of the verb eklegomai, which means to elect, is the main verb in the sentence.

In Greek sentence structure the action of the aorist participle always proceeds the action of the main verb. The aorist participle was aor-act-part of eulogeo, which means to bless.

This means that God blessed you with all those fantastic spiritual and temporal blessings before He elected you.

This means that God blessed you with all those fantastic spiritual and temporal blessings before He elected you.

God has blessed you with these fantastic things, but time and capacity dictates when they are realized and experienced.

A niche is a nest. The perfect place where God wants you to be. The niche is between you and Him alone. It’s a seminal life with God.

ISA 30:18 Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.

People and circumstances that are blessings in your life that seem to always come at the exact right time are only collaborators that are to aid you in the pursuit of the greatest blessings.

The greatest blessing to be realized by the church age believer is to become and invisible hero and thus receive the greatest decoration from Christ: the Order of the Morning Star.

The invisible hero earns this status, which is called the ultra-super grace life, all on his lonesome.

PHI 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Acts 13:22 ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart , who will do all My will.’

God’s timing is not set off by failure. Yet it is set off by a lifestyle of sin or human good.

Moses found the timing of God through the same valley of death, which is underserved suffering by means of the desert experience.

Where your volition lies will determine your ability to zone in on God’s timing for all things in your life.
