Knowing the Lord is the doctrine of the Essence of God or the Doctrine of Divine attributes as they relate to principle of knowing who God is and knowing what God has done.

PHI 3:7   But whatever quality of things were gains to me, those things [gains] I have concluded as an expert as loss for the sake of Christ.

Phi 3:8  Not only this but more than this, I conclude as an expert all things [Paul's pre-salvation human celebrityship and achievement] to be loss [singular]

Because of the surpassing greatness of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have forfeited all things, also, I keep on concluding as an expert them to be piles of dung in order that I may win for Christ,

Phi 3:9  and that I may be found in Him, not having my own righteousness derived from the source of the Law, but that [righteousness] which is acquired by means of faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from the source of the God at the point of faith,

Phi 3:10  that I may come to know Him, and the power of [behind] His resurrection and the participation of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;

PHI 3:11  if, in some way, I may attain to the resurrection life away from the dead ones spiritually speaking.

PHI 3:12  Not that I have already obtained it [the resurrection life or the ultra supergrace status], or have already reached the objective,

but I continue pressing on that I may attain that [or overtake that, or gain that, arrive at the objective] on account of which I was overtaken by Christ Jesus.

PHI 3:13  Brethren [members of the Royal Family of God], I evaluate myself as not yet having attained the objective [ultra-supergrace or the ultimate objective in time, living in resurrection life];

but one thing I concentrate upon: constantly forgetting the things that lie behind and pursuing vigorously to what lies ahead,

PHI 3:14  I keep on pressing on toward the objective for the purpose of the reward belonging to the upward call of God [Father], by means of Christ Jesus.

Phi 3:15  Therefore, as many as are spiritually mature, let us have this attitude, in fact, if in anything you have a different attitude, the God will also reveal that to you.

Phi 3:16  However, the status to which we have attained [that is the spiritual growth from our discipline toward perception, metabolization and application of doctrine] let us keep marching or advancing in.

Phi 3:17  Brethren [members of the royal family], be co-imitators of me, and be having respect for the same ones, who constantly walk according to the pattern you have in us.

PHI 3:18  For many keep walking, concerning whom I have warned you many times, and now continue to affirm, even weeping, the enemies of the cross of Christ,

PHI 3:19  whose termination is destruction, whose god is their emotion, and whose time of glory will be a momentary time of shame, who keep thinking about earthly things.

PHI 3:20  For our citizenship [politeuma, or heavenly privilege] exists in heaven, from which place we eagerly anticipate the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

Phi 3:21  who will transform the body of our humble station into conformity with the body of His glory, from which operational power that He and only He keeps on being able even to bring under authority all things to Himself.

All these divine attributes as truth but it is another thing to act upon it (Ultimate Goal - PMA).

It is the permanence of God's character that guarantees the fulfillment of all His promises.

Essence of God
1. Just
2. Righteous
3. Love
4. Immutability
5. Eternity

  1. Omniscience
    7. Omnipotence
    8. Omnipresent
    9. Veracity
    10. Sovereignty
  2. God is just and as the Supreme Court Judge always makes decisions based upon His Justice or Him being just.
  3. God is also perfect Righteous (+R) and as the Supreme Court Judge He always makes decisions based upon His righteousness or HIM ALWAYS BEING RIGHT.
  4. God is Love and as the Supreme Court Judge He always makes decisions based upon His Love because His righteousness and justice have been satisfied.

JOH 3:16   "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Or ROM 5:6  For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

In ROM 8:32  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

Notice that it was the justice and righteousness of God that had to be satisfied before the Love of God could be free to act on our behalf.

1CO 13:13  But now abide faith [pistis], hope [elpis or confidence], and God's agape love or virtue love, these three; but the greatest of these [three] is virtue-love.

1CO 14:1  Pursue love [God's love or virtue love], yet desire [NOT spiritual gifts but really it should read DESIRE especially] that you may prophesy or speak forth the Word of God.

  1. As the Supreme Court Judge He always makes decisions based upon His faithfulness in always being there and applying the same doctrinal principles of the divine attributes.
  2. God is Eternal and as the Supreme Court Judge He always makes decisions based upon His eternal purpose and destiny.

PRO 16:4  The Lord has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil.

  1. God has omniscience and as the Supreme Court Judge He always makes decisions based upon His knowledge of what is best for us.
  2. God is omnipotence and as the Supreme Court Judge He always makes decisions based upon His power and ability to accomplish all that He wills and desires.
  3. God is omnipresent and as the Supreme Court Judge He is always abiding in you and is with you.
  4. God is also truth or veracity and as the Supreme Court Judge He always makes decisions based upon truth and no lies.
  5. God is also Sovereign and as the Supreme Court Judge He always makes decisions based upon "what He wills" or "His perfect will.

His omniscience knows everything about you.
His omnipotence has the power to do all things.
His omnipresence is always within you.

1JO 2:28 And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.

In 1Pe 4:19 to those who are going through some measure of suffering the apostle Peter says to entrust your soul to the "faithful Creator" who will always do what is right!

Not only does God reveal Himself by blessing and protecting His people, but God is also faithful in disciplining His people.

He is faithful in what He withholds just like He is faithful in what He gives.

He is faithful in sending sorrow as well as in giving joy.

The faithfulness of God is a truth to be acknowledged by us, not only when we are at ease but when we are in trouble.

To agree with this means that we humble ourselves before Him and owe up to the fact that we fully deserve His correction and instead of any murmuring or complaining, we thank Him for it.

Psa 89:33 Even if they sin and rebel I will not deal falsely in my faithfulness.

The reviving of the Jews after two days can refer to the prophecy being stated where a day to the Lord is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day, 2Pe 3:8.

Now, just like the Trinity possesses the three types of "omni's" and are all on an equal basis so is our Lord's faithfulness to us, especially when we give something over to the Lord.

The same principles of equality that exist between the Trinity when it comes to His knowledge, His power or His presence also exists in their being faithful.

Jam 1:17  Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.

God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever - Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever.

God the Holy Spirit is faithful to indwell us and teach us; Joh 14:26-28.

JOH 14:20 "In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

To be worried and concerned is to reject the nature of God and His  divine attributes and become a loser believer.

God doesn't change and therefore He who has cared for His child through all the years, will not forsake him in old age.

He who has heard your prayers in the past will not refuse to supply your need in the present.

God is greatly honored when under testing for blessing or chastening, we have proper thoughts toward Him and recognize His divine attributes in action.

The sooner we trust in Him in all of our affairs being fully persuaded and convinced of His love toward us,  the sooner we will find true meaning, satisfaction, and contentment in life.

Forgiveness is God's manifestation of His love.

1Jo 2:12  "I am writing to you, little children, because your sins  forgiven you for His name's sake."

Because God has forgiven us, believers are commanded to forgive one another in Eph 4:32 which is an imperative mood.

Forgiving one another is not only a command but it is needed for fellowship and unity in a local assembly.

MAR 11:26 "If you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions."

What this adds up to, then, is this: no more lies, no more pretense.

In Christ's body we're all connected to each other, after all. When you lie to others, you end up lying to yourself.

This command to be kind to one another, tender‑hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you is for the believer who has attained spiritual growth.

He is tender-hearted and forgives others on the basis of the fact that God has forgiven him.

Forgiving others allows God to handle the situation rather than self.

If you have failed under disaster testing or like the Jews you are blaming others, just simply name and cite it and go on.

EXO 14:14,  The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent."

Rom 12:19   Beloved, do not take your own revenge, but defer to the wrath of God.  For it stands written [Deu 32:35], `Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.'"

Col 3:13  "Bear one another and forgiving each other.  Whoever has a complaint against anyone else, just as the Lord forgave you, so also you should forgive others."

This is guidance and direction concerning how to function under the Supreme Court of Heaven without any resentment.

What overcomes our resentment is that which David said in Psa 103:3 The Lord pardons all our iniquities; and heals all our diseases.

In Eph 1:7, the apostle Paul said,  "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,"

We are under surveillance by a super-natural system of demon investigators. These demon investigators have a book or a journal or a diary of your life.

According to Eph 6:12, Satan has demon investigators who constantly keep track of all believers to accuse them before the throne; Rev 12:9-10.

HEB 4:16  Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.

COL 1:16  For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities‑‑ all things have been created by Him and for Him.

The only thing that hinders a judgment from being carried out is that a believer gets in the way through reaction, seeking revenge, arrogance sins, emotional sins, lust to hurt others.

One of the main attributes that God uses as the Supreme Court Judge is His power or omnipotence which means He has the ability to use His power any time He wills to do so.

Omnipotence means "God Almighty" as in Gen 17:1   Now when Abram was ninety‑nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless.

Nothing is too difficult for Him, Gen 18:14  "Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son."

Isa 40:26  lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power not one of them is missing.

Jer 27:5  "I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight."

God's power is NOT manifested by muscle, His power is in His word and whatever He says happens. As Heb 1:3 says "He upholds all things by the word of His power."
