The Phalllic Cult is designed to quench experiential rightousness. Part 3.

The Church Age is a brilliant advance in biblical history. For perspective on this, notice the progress of the dispensations.
At the founding of Israel, Moses wrote:
Indeed, ask now concerning the former days which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and inquire from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything been done like this great thing [establishing the nation of Israel], or has anything been heard like it? (Deut. 4:32)
Magnificent though God’s client nation was, when the Age of Israel ended with the advent of Christ, a far greater thing had come to pass.
God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. (HEB 1:1-2)
The Church is a breathtaking phenomenon. Never before has the believer held such a position in relation to the Godhead.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father [the absent Christ is represented on earth by many believers over a long period, rather than by Himself alone over the brief span of the Incarnation]. (John 14:12)
As a unique body of believers, the Church is united with Christ, imitates Him, glorifies Him, accompanies Him, and will rule with Him forever. Never before in history have all these privileges been extended to mankind.
We will never again be under a system of law because Christ perfectly fulfilled the law, and through union with Him, so have we. We are under a system of grace.
Our Lord’s sinless life and respect for human freedom fulfilled the commandments in Codex I of the Mosaic Law.
His sinlessness and substitutionary death for the sins of mankind were the realities long anticipated by ceremonies in Codex II of the Law.
His love for Israel demonstrates His fulfillment of the establishment laws in Codex III (Matt. 22:21).
Matt 5:18
"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished.
It would be Christ in His humanity that would fulfill all the Law, and therefore, being in union with Him, every believer has fulfilled the Law.
It would be Christ in His humanity that would fulfill all the Law, and therefore, being in union with Him, every believer has fulfilled the Law.
GAL 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Matt 5:18
"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished.
God will be glorified with or without us, EPH 1:3.
EPH 1:3
Blessed [eulogetos - worthy of praise and glorification] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
We don’t live in a certain way to be counted worthy; rather we live in a certain way because we are worthy.
There is one solution to the phallic cult and all other distractions in the cosmic system, Christ and His word [Eph 1-3].
When the Jews conquered the Canaanites on the battlefield the Canaanites later conquered the Jews in the area of the phallic cult.
The believer conquers death through faith in Christ. The very real warning here is for the believer not to be conquered later by the phallic cult, which exists in every generation.
The phallic cult was not only sexual, but had the promise of prosperity financially and personally, and therefore it represents the frantic search for happiness in the things of this world.
The noun is eucharistia which refers to the communion table. It means thankfulness toward the Lord or occupation with the person of Christ.
