The plural pronoun for God is Elohim.

1Pe 3:15 - dogmatically teaches us that one of the most important doctrines that a believer must learn and apply is the Doctrine of Doctrines.

Equal privilege and equal opportunity = every believer has been given an inheritance which was created perfectly just for them personally; Eph 1:3-4; 1PE 1:3-5.

Those of us who have been faithful students of the Word of God throughout the years finally realize the seriousness of the disobedience that is before them.

Just because someone says that they feel a certain way, that doesn’t mean that their feelings are leading them to the emotional revolt of the Soul.

Prin: Be careful of the emotions of the soul because they have been created by our Lord Jesus Christ to respond to God the Father and to be thankful for His plan.

When your emotions are in charge, there is always the danger of making decisions based upon “how” one feels rather than “what one knows.”

Second Prin:  Be careful of the emotions of the soul making decisions because the old sin nature will seek for dominance of the flesh rather than fellowship with the Spirit.

Gal 5 =  the apostle Paul writes to the believers in Galatia concerning this battle going on within every single one of us, as God’s children.

The churches of Galatia were known for a particular game in the ancient world that was called or known as a  “Debater’s Technique” = popular games in the ancient world.

The Galatians were known as a Celtic  people who were part Irish and loved to argue; Gal 5:13-18.

Emotions cannot see;
Emotions cannot hear;
Emotions cannot function, especially ;operate
Only truth can set us free.

Emotions = really a doctrine that causes many, both believers and unbelievers, to realize their place and their responsibilities both in the natural realm and the spiritual realm.

When the emotions start to overpower us, it may be something so simple that the wisdom of man is even fooled because man thinks he knows something when he really knows NOTHING!

Under Divine Inspiration and using the principle of  ICE, we are able to come to the wisdom bestowed upon us by our Mentor, God the Holy Spirit.

Phi 3:1  “to be writing the same doctrines to you is not troublesome to me, while on the other hand, it is a safeguard or a basis of security for you.”

An acronym is an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word.

Top of Form

  1. Isagogics – refers to the historical setting behind the passage.
  2. Categories - systematic theology developed from comparing Scripture with Scripture.
  3. Exegesis - is the grammatical and syntactical analysis of the passage from the original languages.

Thinking you have something when you have nothing is a manifestation of arrogance -- the type of arrogance that the apostle John warns us about in the lukewarm passageS.

This same attitude that says “I am in need of NOTHING” is the very same attitude that the Bible says will be prevalent in the last generation, just before the Rapture.

For the Lukewarm Churches and the Lukewarm believers, both of which live for themselves in these last days.

It is a desire any believer whose desire is to worship Jehovah, and by that I mean Jehovah the Father, Jehovah the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and Jehovah the Holy Spirit.

This is according to what the Word of God has to say because there are some passages especially in the book of Isaiah where all three Jehovah’s are mentioned together.

Isa 48:16 "Come near to Me; listen to this.  From the first, I have not spoken in secret.  From the time it took place, I was there.  And now the Lord God [God the Father] has sent Me [God the Son], and His Spirit [God the Holy Spirit]."

2CO 13:14  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God [the Father], and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

The word "trinity" was first used by Tertullian in the second century to designate a Biblical doctrine. The doctrine of the trinity was confirmed by the Council of Nicea in A.D. 325.

The plural pronoun for God, Elohim, is used in such passages as Gen 1:26, 3:22.

ISA 6:8  Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

JOH 17:21  that they may all be one; even as Thou, Father, {art} in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me.

Psa 110:1 "The Lord [God the Father] said to my [David's] Lord [God the Son]."

Psa 2:7  "I will announce the decree of the Lord [God the Father]. He said to Me [God the Son], `You are My Son [deity of Jesus Christ]. This day [day of incarnation] I have begotten You.'"

This is quoted three times in the New Testament, in Acts 13:33, Heb 1:5, and Heb 5:5.

Isa 48:16 "Come near to Me; listen to this.  From the first, I have not spoken in secret.  From the time it took place, I was there.  And now the Lord God [God the Father] has sent Me [God the Son], and His Spirit [God the Holy Spirit]."

Mat 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples [Bible students] of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit."

This is a reference to the pre-Canon period of the Church-age in which water baptism was practiced illustrating the baptism of the Holy Spirit using ritual.

Joh 14:16 "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever."

The Counselor is said to be "the Spirit of truth; He abides with you and He will be in you."

Even Thomas called Jesus both Lord and God when he saw Him in His resurrection body.  Joh 20:28 "Thomas answered and said to Him, `My Lord, My God.'"

1Co 12:4-6  "There are a variety of spiritual gifts, but the same Holy Spirit.  And there are a variety of ministries [opportunities for Christian service],

but the same Lord [God the Son].  And there are many kinds of activities, but the same God [God the Father], who works all of them in all persons."

1Pe 1:2  "According to the foreknowledge of God [the Father] by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ."

Argumentation for the trinity begins in Genesis with the use of plural pronouns for God.

Isa 6:8  Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, `Whom shall I [God the Father] send, and who will go for us ?'"

When a distinction is made between the persons of the Trinity, it refers to a specific activity of specific persons in the Godhead.

1Th 1:2-3 "We give thanks to God [God the Father] always for you, making mention of you in our prayers,

constantly bearing in mind your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of God our Father."

ECC 12:1   Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, "I have no delight in them"

Note that the word for Creator (Ecc 12:1) is the plural of bara which is bowraeykaa.

PRO 9:10  The respect of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One [qadoshiym - plural - Holy Ones] is understanding.

JOB 35:10 "But no one says, 'Where is God my Maker [the plural of asah which is `osaay - Makers], Who gives songs in the night,

ISA 54:5 "For your husband is your Maker [plural], Whose name is the Lord of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One [plural] of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.

There is always some offer on the table for loser believers to become winner believers through these offers that God so graciously offers to mankind.

First, the principle behind grace preceding judgment; JAM 2:13  For judgment {will be} merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.
