In this dispensation of grace, the church-age, God demonstrates the fallacy of the satanic lie through people who are graced-out totally.
1. Jacob was the son of Isaac, and the twin brother of Esau, and also an ancestor of Jesus.
2. Jacob tried to obtain Esaus birthright for just one bowl of beans, GEN 25:31.
They allow their carnal and physical desires to drown out the conviction of the Holy Spirit and obscure the vision of divine blessings for the promise of temporal things.
How few believers actually recognize the privilege of gathering together for public worship through the intake of doctrine.
HEB 11:6 And without doctrine resident in the soul it is impossible to please Him,
HEB 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some,
MAR 12:30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
ACT 2:46 And day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,
They have been born again and in that sense have a new birthright, but they totally ignore their responsibility to the Lord.
a. To be occupied with Him. b. To be governed by His doctrine. c. To love and to serve Him. d. To have all five parts of our soul in complete submission to Him.
God also requires accountability for what you hear, DEU 18:19.
God will require you to fulfill any vow that you have made to Him, DEU 23:21.
PSA 10:13 Why has the wicked spurned God? He has said to himself, “Thou wilt not require anything.”
God requires that the believer operates in 3 things: a. To operate in justice. b. To love mercy - grace in action. c. To walk humbly with thy God.
MIC 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?
It is also required in stewards that a man be found faithful, 1CO 4:1-2.
GEN 25:32 “Of what use then is the birthright to me?”
“godless” - someone who leaves God out of their life.
They are given an eternal inheritance, EPH 1:14, yet they ignore that inheritance.
They have been given eternal life, but through N.V.T.D., they have ignored the reality of living in that life in time.
They have been reconciled to God, but they ignore that relationship that comes from reconciliation.
They have been created a new spiritual species or a new creature but do not live in the new creation.
They have been entered into the Royal family of God forever but refuse to gather together with the Royal family of God in time.
They have been given equal privilege and equal opportunity to glorify God but have ignored the divine opportunities and privileges.
They have been given the universal priesthood of the believer but refuse to function as priests through their N.V.T.D.
They have been made a Royal ambassador for Christ at the moment of salvation but have sent a message to their king, TLJC, “Im not interested in representing you in this foreign country called the world!”
They have been given the indwelling of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and have ignored their presence.
They have been given the unique availability of divine power but insist on relying on their own disgusting, repulsive, sickening human power.
They have been given a portfolio of invisible assets but have sold out to the cosmic system.
They have been given the unique predesigned plan of God but insist on relying on their own plans.
They have been given a spiritual gift to build up and edify their local assembly, but they are too busy in the devils world to do so.
They have been transferred into the kingdom of God and delivered from the kingdom of Satan, but have refused to accept that liberty and freedom.
They have been given direct access to God but do not have time to approach Him.
They have been given escrow blessings but would rather receive cosmic compensation.
They have been given problem solving devices but instead rely on human solutions.
