HE is the reason, HE is the good shepherd.

1CO 2:9 but just as it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Living for today, accomplishing GOD’s plan for your life today is the best thing you can do for tomorrow.

Instead of living in the WHY’s of life, we need to live in the WHAT’s NEXT in life.

In the beginning was the word and the word was with GOD and the word was GOD.

In the beginning was the logos, the reason why and the logos, the reason why was with GOD, and the logos, the reason why was GOD.
HE is the reason why.

COL 3:23-24, Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

JOH 10:28, I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me,

Life here on earth is all about equal opportunity where it really counts, in the spiritual realm. Any believer can be a winner believer. Just as any believer can be a loser believer. But they are still both believers.

To whom much is given much is required.
Perhaps the main idea here is that we are accountable for the knowledge, resources, abilities, etc. that GOD has blessed us with.

JOH 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

It makes all the difference to a man how he perceives his religion. Whether it is as something he has to carry, or whether it is something that will carry him.

GOD will never leave us. HE is always faithful…even though we are from time to time…faithless.

GOD’s omniscience, as we have seen, includes all things which will actually occur, as well as all things which could possibly occur.

This fold is an area where when the weather is stormy, or the evenings are cold, or there was a sighting of wild animals predators,
then the flock or flocks would be shut up in the interior part of the fold, with its protection of roof and walls. There is a gate guarded by a watchman.

The legalist Pharisees and other Jewish leaders were of the opinion that if you were not a Jew you were outcasts, destined to destruction. You were outside of the fold.

MAT 18:12-14, “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.

“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep“.

JOH 17:12, While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
