Lack of wisdom when it comes to the Mystery Doctrine of the Church-Age results in bondage to the Law.

Religion:

a particular system of faith or worship

God demands perfection

GAL 3:12

However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM.”

GAL 3:10

For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM.”

JOH 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

1CO 2:14

But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

JAM 2:10-11

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

GAL 2:21b

By the year A.D. 70, the Jewish rabbis had added 341 rules for daily life!

ACT 15:10

“Now therefore why do you put God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?

When you accept the responsibility of an impossible task, you are essentially enslaved to that task indefinitely.

MAT 11:28

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”

1PE 3:15

“but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;”

Legalistic thinking is a real source of power to those who allow it to be.

The opposite of love is not hate.

The opposite of love is fear!

2CO 13:5

“test yourselves, to see if you are in the faith”
