Mal 2:9 “So I also have made you despised and abased before all the people, just as you are not keeping My ways but are showing partiality in the instruction.
Mat 25:45 Then He (Jesus) will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’
Jas 2:9 But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.
Heb 13:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
God has set up a divine standard and spiritual laws to protect grace inside His church walls. If the leadership of that church operates outside that standard (legalism, deception, false doctrine), then God will allow self-destruction and misery to take root within that ministry.
Legalism, false doctrine and habitual practices outside the plan of God can bring punitive measures upon the leadership first, followed by those who support that nonsense. Grace is always smothered by arrogance, lies and cosmic viewpoint.
When a nation has no confidence in its spiritual leadership and its spiritual communicators it will become apostate, and therefore God must raise up some other system. There is always a vacuum that must be filled when truth is removed. That is why God introduced this prophet Malachi.
When a pastor or leader begins catering to people that leadership loses the respect of people. They should be occupied with Bible Doctrine, accurately handled and administered. Once that falls by the wayside all kinds of arrogance and emotions fill that void.
Mal 2:9 – “You have been partial”
This is the qal active participle of nasah, and it means to be partial, to have respect for persons. Meaning to elevate and lift upward.
- Leadership must never cater to people or emotions.
- Leadership must never emphasize
friendship over the mission.
- Leadership must never allow disrespect to flourish in any realm otherwise it will spread like cancer. The Levitical priesthood failed because they wrongly interpreted the law and they had respect for people over the Word.Mal 2:10“Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers? All Bels have the same Father. In other words, they are the positive pivot of that era, the only protection the Jews have at this time is themselves, if they remain faithful.Mal 2:10 – “God created us” — “one God” is a reference to the Lord Jesus Christ. One Father, one God. Here are two members of the Trinity being taught.Divine protection comes from respect for the divine institutions God has established. There are two protections for the human race: The positive pivot of Bels & God’s established institutions.Mal 2:11 “Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the sanctuary of the LORD which He loves and has married the daughter of a foreign god.Neh 13:1 On that day they read aloud from the book of Moses in the hearing of the people; and there was found written in it that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever enter the assembly of God,When God makes a command or statute it is never designed to bring forth division in the sense of prejudice but to sustain His plan, His people and His justice which has to fulfill a divine mandate beyond human viewpoint.
2Cor 6:14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
2Co 6:15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
2Cor 6:16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. 17 “Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.
The nation of Israel was to welcome in strangers and treat them with respect but they were to never become part of that nation if they did not believe in the one true God of Israel and follow the standards set in place by that nation.
God is vehemently opposed to any form of discrimination but He is adamantly opposed to foreign gods and lifestyles opposed to His word.
