The riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy which He prepared beforehand for glory; Prt 11.

The principle of taking care of our own vessel first before we can serve and honor the Lord by taking care of others.
If we have the mind of Christ, 1CO 2:16, and we are told to keep on thinking this mind within ourselves which was also resident in Christ Jesus then we will live according to MAT 20:28, the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.
SOL 1:6, “Do not stare at me because I am swarthy [burnt from the heat], For the sun has burned me. My mother’s sons were angry with me; They made me caretaker of the vineyards, But I have not taken care of my own vineyard.”
This is a picture of a believer putting the cart before the horse and getting “burnt out” from serving others but not setting aside enough time to serve or nourish themselves through the intake of doctrine, and then prayer and fellowship with God.
1CO 7:23, You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.
EPH 5:22, Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
EPH 6:1, Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
EPH 6:5-7, Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ; not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men,
2CO 4:7, But we have this treasure [what treasure? The light of knowledge in verse 6, knowledge let’s us see the true issue.
This is the great power of the hypostatic union extended into the Church-age to make us invisible heroes.
The word for afflicted means to be pressed as grapes bring forth wine, to press hard upon, to trouble, to afflict.
Perplexed means to be without resources at times, to be in straits, to be embarrassed, to be in doubt, not to know which way to turn, not to know how to decide or what to do.
Persecuted means to be given over to undeserved suffering, to pursue in a hostile manner, to harass, to be mistreated, to suffer persecution on account of something.
Struck down means to cast down, put down, to be put into a lower place.
It is the fact that as an innocent individual, He went through undeserved suffering and He didn’t complain, He didn’t quit, He went forward in the plan of God for His life.
The word life is the noun zoe which means the state of one who is possessed of vitality, it is used of the absolute fullness of life which belongs to God.
The vessel of honor spends enough time inside the PPOG and under the ministry of whomever is his right pastor to learn the principles of the mystery doctrine of the Church-age.
