The analogy to water in the form of flooding represents a tremendous power of Satan in the form of the attack of his demon assault army.
The land mass represents the power of God, which depletes and neutralizes the violence of historical disaster.
The strong current of the water does not have power over the stable land mass.

All Satanic attacks are made against the grace of God.

There are environments and human associations which are detrimental, hazardous, to the concentration of the word of God.
Whether the hindrances are geographical or personal, friend and social distractions which would keep you from the daily function of perception, metabolization and application of Bible doctrine.
There is only one place to be and that is the place where the provision is -the place of wisdom.
You can be in the dungeon during your entire Christian life on this earth, and that means you will be in the right place at the right time for discipline.

Satan is changed by his own arrogance and now he blames Israel for his problems.
Frustrated arrogance produces anger, rage, which in turn becomes the motivation for every form of evil and revenge.
Satan failed and now he hates the Jew and he blames the Jew for all of his problems.
When there is arrogance, and arrogance is frustrated, then there is also some form of neurosis, or psychosis.
Once you are in a state of arrogance, and that state of arrogance is frustrated, by some relation with someone, and you become angry or enraged, this becomes motivation for a lifetime of vengeful activity.
