Risking on God results in spiritual maturity and a completed edification complex.

Wednesday, November 1, 2006

By following God they found that the promises of God are iron clad and therefore the Abrahamic Covenant became more real to them than their own earthly dwellings.

Abraham came to a point in his spiritual life that the promises of God were iron clad, without deviation, because he realized over years of attempting to execute the will of God that God is a God of Justice and Truth.

Abraham’s life as the father of the Jews as well as all of Israel’s torrid history is a picture of the church age believer’s soul.

Christ wants to build a palace in your soul so that His mind may dwell there in comfort.

The very love of Christ, the greatest of His virtues, must be metabolized and applied, and then it becomes wisdom, which is applied knowledge.

That palace (EPH 3:17) is built in your hearts. It is the metabolized doctrine stored in your soul that makes up the edification complex of the soul.

“building up” is the noun oikodomen. It is a compound word made up of oikia, “house,” and domeo, “to build.”
The believer reaches spiritual maturity when he completes the construction of the edification complex in his soul.

The completed believer that God sees is always very different than any believer could have ever imagined.
EPH 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

1CO 2:9
but just as it is written,
“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the heart of man,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

The glory for which you have been prepared, if you will take the risk of exploiting your primary assets, is so far beyond your imagination that you might as well forget about imagining what it will be like because you can’t.

The PT is a grace gift given so that each member of the body of Christ can build his own edification complex in his own soul.

“Building up” is oikodomen, which is the building up of the edification complex in the soul of each believer through what the PT communicates.

How many times have we been simply careless with our words around other believers? The tongue is a very powerful weapon for good or for evil.
