Satan entered into operation blame game.
Thursday, November 13, 2003
1. The blame game is refusal to take the responsibility for one’s decisions.
2. We have two choices when we fail: continue to blame the world for our stress and present situation or take responsibility for own decisions and reactions and go forward in the plan of God.
JOB 1:22 Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.
3. When David failed miserably, he still did not quit nor blame others for his predicament.
ACT 13:22 “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will.”
4. Your response to your failures is your personal responsibility.
PSA 103:2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;
You could never apply – MAR 12:31 “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”
– unless you love yourself.
5. The first person you should talk to when it comes to your failures is yourself. Immediately following addressing yourself, you should go to God and bond the two together.
6. If you blame others and do not take responsibility for your actions, you will never experience victory in the spiritual life.
PSA 103:2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;
7. The legalistic individual always blames others for their problems with self-righteousness as their mind-set and self- justification as their function.
Two perfect people blaming someone else for their failures.
8. When you keep your guilt within, you will blame others for your failures.
9. No matter how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you blame him, it will not change you.
10. The only thing blame does is to keep the focus off you while you are looking for external reasons to explain your unhappiness or frustration.
11. You may succeed in making another person feel guilty about something by blaming him, but you will not succeed in changing whatever it is about you that is making you unhappy.
12. A person has not failed miserably until he begins to blame others for his failure.
The real test, when the time is short, of having done everything right is to carry on.
Whatever you are, when you come to a pressure period in your life, where the time is short, all your virtue or all your evil comes out.
JOB 5:22 “You will laugh at violence and famine, Neither will you be afraid of wild beasts.”
Whenever it creeps into your consciousness that the time is short, you immediately accelerate whatever you have in your soul.
Fear makes a person cruel and evil, and rotten and arrogant.
Satan has always hated the Jews, so of course, he is going to attack the Jews.
He expresses hatred, he expresses vindictiveness, he expresses implacability.
To see – aor-act-ind – eiden – eiden = he now becomes aware of the shortness of time; it means to be aware, to behold, consider, have knowledge of, or perceive.
MAT 6:22-23 “The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.”
But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
EPH 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
Aorist tense – action of the verb in its entirety. Active voice – Satan produces the action, at the beginning of the time of his desperation. Indicative mood – declarative representing the pressure on the greatest creature genius of all time.
Aor-pass-ind – ballo – ejblhvqh = to be thrown violently or intensively, to be cast, to be dung(ed), moved out, or forced out.
Culminative aorist tense = the results are going to be the intensification of all the evil that he has possessed and developed over the period of the prehistoric angelic conflict and roughly some 8,000 years of human history up to this point.
The first act of going berserk is to express the hatred and cruelty of his soul, well disguised, but there.
The beginning of the time of the devil’s desperation begins with being cast out of heaven permanently, it terminates with the Second Advent when he goes to jail.
One of the reactions from being hurt is withdrawal from the environment where the hurt took place, and this can be detrimental to the individual, especially if the environment is the local assembly that God has called you to.
MAR 8:31 And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
MAR 12:10 Have you not even read this Scripture: The stone which the builders rejected, This became the chief corner {stone};
Many times rejection is often a matter of an individual’s perception of reality.
The arrogant believer is always defending his own perception of self.
GAL 6:3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Fear of rejection, fear of failure, lack of confidence, rejecting the responsibility and the spiritual gift that God has given them, etc.
Your worship is not just coming to the local assembly and sitting down taking notes and learning doctrine. There is also to be the presentation of your body as a living and holy sacrifice.
1CO 10:12 therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
Once you put yourself and your self-righteousness on the forward line of defense in your soul, you have completely destroyed your spiritual life.
In some cases, the perception of reality is so distorted that the believer who assumes that he or she is being rejected is actually the rejector.
DEU 32:39 See now that I, I am He, and there is no God besides Me; it is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded, and it is I who heal;
HOS 6:1 Come, let us return to the Lord. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.
JOB 5:18 For He inflicts pain, and gives relief; He wounds, and his hands also heal.
PSA 38:5 My wounds grow foul and fester. Because of my foolishness,
PSA 109:22 For I am afflicted and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
Have you even begun to organize the problem solving devices and put “them” on the FLOT line, the forward line of defense in your soul?
Your spiritual life is the only solution to the problem of rejection.
