Euodia and Syntyche apparently were being used by Satan to start a division in the church, because others were participating in their intense disagreement.
LUK 12:48 “From everyone who has been given much shall much be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.”
2CO 6:3 “giving no cause for offense in anything, in order that the ministry be not discredited,”
One of the major problems in every local assembly is personality conflict, which can occur even when you are living the adult spiritual life.
Pettiness comes from hypersensitivity and certain mental attitude sins, such as arrogance, jealousy, bitterness, vindictiveness, implacability.
MAT 25:40 “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.”
PHI 2:12b “be accomplishing your own preservation with respect toward Christ and reverence toward doctrine;”
No Christian’s personality is ever to be an issue in your spiritual advance and your calling and place in the body of Christ, 1CO 12:18.
