The secret of the mystery. Part 128. The cross represents God's plan for the humanity of Christ and therefore the PPOG for us.

GAL 5:4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
HEB 12:15 See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;
“He who loves” - pres-act-part - philon - filw’n = personal love.
“More than me” - prepositional phrase - “huper eme” = above, over, more than.
Worthy - noun - axios = denotes a life-style worthy of God.
The cross represents God’s plan for the humanity of Christ and therefore the PPOG for us.
“He who has found his life shall lose it” = the one who chooses his own plans, his own dreams, his own desires, and therefore he loses or inevitably becomes a loser.
“He who has lost his life for My sake shall find it” = the believer who accepts the plan of God and makes Bible doctrine his #1 priority in life, and continues his perception, metabolization, and application of that doctrine.
Deny - aor-mid-imp - aparnesastho - a*parnhsavsqw = to deny, to disown, to repudiate, to reject utterly.
It is a command to deny, disown, repudiate, or reject the desires of the old sin nature, which is anti-God.
GAL 5:17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit,
In verse 24, TLJC is talking to His disciples.
In verse 26, TLJC is talking about profit not salvation by works.
Verse 27 - when TLJC comes back in the glory of His Father with His angels = not a reference to end of the Millennial reign when the unbelievers would be recompensed, but a reference to the Bema seat judgment for believers only.
We imply by choosing our own plan that we have a better plan than God’s, and that we can do more for ourselves to make us happy than God can do for us to make us happy.
Ashamed = the state of the believer at the Bema seat judgment who is a loser and is embarrassed and ashamed when TLJC comes back, 1JO 2:28.
The believer who chooses God’s plan is a winner, for God “is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine.”
EPH 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,
Phase 1 = Christ being formed in your body
Phase 2 = Christ at home in your heart
Phase 3 = Christ being glorified in your body
In each stage of spiritual growth there is an experience of the PPOG.
The Galatians were still in spiritual childhood because they were involved with legalism.
They allowed the Judaizers to come in, and they were now legalistic and went back to their spiritual childhood.
Until Christ is formed in you = S.S.E., the first stage of spiritual growth.
Aor-pass-subj - morphote = to fashion, to give shape or to form.
Phase 2 = Christ at home in your hearts.
“In the inner man” = your new man or the new spiritual species.
“So that” - result clause = “Christ may be at home in your hearts.”
“To dwell” - aor-act-inf - katoikesai - katoikh’sai = to dwell, to live, to be at home.
“Through faith” - preposition dia + genitive singular feminine noun pisteos = through the means of doctrine.
JOH 14:15 - it is the type of love that motivates the believer to stay with doctrine - “If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
1CO 13:4 - it is the type of love that is patient, gracious, not jealous; does not brag and is not arrogant.
1CO 13:5 - it is the type of love that does not act improper, is never selfish, is not resentful, does not think evil.
1CO 13:6 - it is the type of love that does not gloat over other men’s sins, but rejoices with doctrine.
1CO 13:7 - it is the type of love that overlooks faults, believes the best, hopes all things, endures all things.
1JO 2:5 - it is the type of love that can only be developed from the intake of doctrine -
“But whoever keeps His doctrine, in that believer the love of God has truly been matured.”
1JO 4:20 - this love has respect for the Royal Family of God - If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.
1JO 5:2 - it is the type of love that motivates love for doctrine - “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His doctrines.”
2JO 1:6 And this is virtue-love that we walk according to His doctrines. This is the command, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it [PPOG].
“To be put to shame” = failure to glorify God.
Christ being exalted or glorified in my body = the attainment of spiritual maturity and the resultant glorification of TLJC.
“For me living is Christ” = the ultimate experience of the PPOG and spiritual maturity, all of which results in the glorification of TLJC.
