The secret of the mystery. Part 182. How ambassadors communicate the great affairs of the kingdom from which they are sent.

Two Unique Royal Commissions for every Church-age Believer - the royal priesthood and the royal ambassadorship.

As royal priests, we represent ourselves before God.
The universal priesthood of the believer is found in 1PE 2:5,9; REV 1:6; 5:10.

The second Unique Royal Commission for every Church-age Believer is our Royal Ambassadorship and the Divine Provision of Logistical Grace Support and Blessing.

The Doctrine of Ambassadorship.
Point 1. Definition and Description.

a. An ambassador is a high ranking minister of state or of royalty sent to another state to represent his sovereign or his country.

By analogy we are spiritual aristocracy as members of the Royal Family of God, and Christ is the king who has sent us into a foreign country, the cosmic world.

Ambassadorship stems from being in union with Christ, caused by the baptism of the Spirit.
Each Church-age believer is Royal Family of God representing the King of kings and Lord of lords during his time on this earth.

Two commissions are given to the believer at salvation: the royal priesthood, which is a part of the equal privilege of election; and the royal ambassadorship, which is a part of the equal privilege of predestination.

Point 2. The profile of the ambassador.
a. An ambassador does not appoint himself.
b. The ambassador does not support himself.
c. The ambassador’s instructions are always in written form, so he has no doubt as to what he should do.

d. The ambassador does not belong to the country to which he is sent.
e. The ambassador does not live in the foreign country for his own personal interest.
f. The ambassador does not treat any insult to himself as personal.
g. When an ambassador is recalled, his recall is tantamount to a declaration of war.
h. As those with communication gifts, ambassadors are authorized to communicate the great affairs of the kingdom from which they are sent.

“To whom much is given much is required,” LUK 12:48.

You will discover that the measure of discipline and punishment on a believer who has heard the truth of Bible Doctrine and then has rejected it, is much worse than the believer who has never heard it.

JAM 3:1 Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we shall incur a stricter judgment.

It was not because he sinned, but because he misrepresented the character and nature of God.

The congregation of Israel sinned over and over again against the Lord and the Lord gave them 10 tests to respond and recover.

Moses misrepresented the character and nature of God one time, and he was not permitted to go into the promise land. To whom much is given much is required, LUK 12:48.

1CO 10:4 And they all drank the same spiritual drink; for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.

HEB 10:10 We have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE for all.

HEB 10:14 For by ONE offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

God said speak to the rock; instead Moses struck the rock twice and spoke to the people in a derogatory way, rather than speaking to the rock.

HEB 6:6b they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.

JOH 19:30 Tetelestai - tetevlestai - It [the payment for salvation] has been finished in the past with the result that it goes on being finished forever.

He was told that because he had struck the rock when he had been told simply to speak to the rock, he would not be permitted to bring the people into the land which the Lord would give them.

He did not follow the Lord’s directions, and he misrepresented the holiness or the character and nature of God to the congregation.

The Lord still honored His man in authority even though His man failed.

He did not follow the Lord’s directions and misrepresented the character and nature of God to the congregation.

Why was Moses’ punishment so severe for striking the rock in an angry fashion, when he was told simply to speak to the rock, with the promise that the water would be given?

It has to with the efficacy of the work of Christ on the cross. Moses had done a terrible thing in giving an erroneous view of the cross with its once and for all consummation of the infinitely glorious work of redemption.

ROM 6:10 For the death that He died, He died to sin, once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
HEB 10:10 By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

h. As those with communicational gifts, ambassadors are authorized to communicate the great affairs of the kingdom from which they are sent.

i. Ambassadors usually are individuals of great distinction and superiority.

1PE 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

“The husband of one wife” = a mia’" - mias [one] gunaikoV" - gunaikos [woman] a!ndra - andra [man]

j. The dignity of the ambassador appears in the greatness of their king who sent them.

Sometimes as an ambassador for Christ you may not be accepted by your family members, your loved ones, your friends, and the world.

GAL 6:9-10 And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

Why does life get so relatively difficult?

“They planned to throw him over the cliff, but Jesus’ brothers came and stood up for Him.”

When Jesus was in trouble, His brothers were invisible.

MAR 3:21 And when His own people heard {of this,} they went out to take custody of Him; for they were saying, “He has lost His senses, He is out of His mind.”

He did not try to control his family’s behavior, nor did He let their behavior control His.

JOH 2:24 But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men,
MAR 3:35 “For whoever does the will of God, he is My brother and sister and mother.”
