The Angelic Conflict – Part 37 Outline

The Angelic Conflict – Part 37 –

Point 10. – The Pseudo Victory of Satan in the Original Fall of Man –

When Satan and the fallen angels rebelled against God, God could not permit a rebellion without showing His hatred for sin, rebellion and independence.

God’s attitude toward rebellion and independence from the Creator had to be proclaimed even though He would permit Satan and the fallen angels to prove their case before all creation.

ROM 1:25 “They exchanged the doctrine from God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator”

2TI 3:4 “lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God”

In eternity past, because of the rebellion of Satan and the fallen angels, God spoke the Word of judgment and the entire earth, the domain of Satan, was blasted into chaos with a single breath from God.

The interval finally came to an end, and the next act of this universal drama was ready to begin – the creation of man!

GEN 1:2b and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.

Satan, the one who had claimed to be equal with God, was about to be revealed as the liar and deceiver he really was!

GEN 1:2 And the earth became formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.

GEN 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

The divine command went forth and when the light pushed back the curtains of darkness, the stage, planet earth, which had been reset, was seen to be empty.

A new individual would be created around whom the greatest battles of the invisible war would be fought.

After six days of preparation, the new character stepped on the scene: it was homo sapien or man, a new creature made lower than the angels!

The very place which had been the scene of the challenge to the authority of God was now to see His victorious vindication.

HEB 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings.

God is the one true God, that there is none like unto Him, that He is the source of life and power and that to Him shall be ascribed all of the praise and the glory.

DEU 23:5 “the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you because the Lord your God loves you.”

Out of this creation, the fall, and the following redemption, came the complete revelation of the depths of the wisdom and the knowledge of God, ROM 11:33.

“The paradox of the fortunate fall.”

God created man below all angelic orders and tied him to earth with gravity, limiting him in space, time, intelligence, and power.

HEB 2:7 Thou hast made him for a little while lower than the angels; Thou hast crowned him with glory and honor, And hast appointed him over the works of Thy hands;

Out of the lowest, God shall bring the highest.

He shall Himself condescend to be a member of this lower creation -humans!

HEB 2:9 But we do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.

Even out of man’s fallen condition, God will reach down below the level man was created, and bring new sons who shall be associated with Him forever and ever for all eternity!

ROM 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!

Out of the creation of a lower creature called man will come the greatest glory to God and the full and total victory in the invisible war or the angelic conflict.

God was choosing man as the arm which would defeat Satan, in bringing him to total defeat and replacing him in the scheme of the government of the universe.

EPH 3:10 “in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.”

The earth was Satan’s kingdom; God had set him in authority over it, EZE 28:14. Satan had never been dispossessed of the earth even in his confinement!
