 David’s mother plays a quiet role in his development. Most mother’s do not get the credit they deserve.

David a foreshadowing of TLJC would not allow one sheep to be snatched from him.

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

John 10:15 Even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

PSA 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?

God provided the weapons and the courage to battle a giant from the devil’s world.

Saul was cosmic viewpoint that Bels’ develop when they stray from PPOG.

Had David trusted in King Saul, the victory would not have been his.

David would later become a great leader because he used doctrinal PSD.

David understood the need for the HS to guide his life.

David rested in his faith for God to pull him through.

David relied upon God for his needs, Grace Orientation.

David had a personal sense of destiny.

David was a faithful student of BD, Doctrinal Orientation.

David had an intimate relationship with God, personal love for God the Father.

David showed impersonal love for all the other soldiers.

The only true soldier was a 15yr old shepherd boy whose faith outweighed a 10 ft warrior.

EPH 5:17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Victory is secured by knowing the enemy and knowing yourself!

When one soldier goes AWOL in combat it affects the whole platoon!

If you want God to take a backseat in your life…simply put Him there.

A soldier’s life is not all hardship there is also great reward and rank at the end of the battle.

God is not withholding anything from us He is simply busy working on us.
