Spiritual growth is usually achieved in steps and increments, sometimes large and others very small. None the less they occur when the building blocks of BD are firmly in the Bel’s life.
Rom 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Our salvation was the adjustment needed for the justice of God to be fully satisfied.
Justified- DIKAIOO- Legal declaration of innocence’s, to render one righteous, vindicate.
Peace- EIRENE- state of well-being, the status quo of prosperity & health (mental & physical).
This divine peace was designed as a lifestyle. Spiritual tranquility, it is a status of being safe or secure. All because at the moment of salvation the OSN issue is completely removed.
Rom 5:2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.
Through the Lord Jesus Christ we have already OBTAINED the necessary spiritual gifts for all of eternity.
Every Bel has potential to be the greatest invisible hero of their generation, despite education level, personality flaws, weakness or setbacks. It truly comes down to using what God has already imputed to you in eternity past.
Rom 5:2 speaks to a grace and a hope that we stand in, it is dogmatic. The perfect tense and declarative mood of the Greek, says it is certain because of the work of Christ.
Rom 5:3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
Often times, tribulation or difficulty is the exact remedy for a Bel who is unsure of his/her spiritual standing with God. It forces them to either apply BD or reject BD. Either way they can grow from it!
Tragedy & difficulties never leave us the same, we either go forward to learn and grow or we fall backward into the OSN and cosmic schemes.
Rom 5:5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Under the perfect grace & integrity of God there is no fleshly expectations therefore there is no disappointment.
Joh 14:16 “I will ask the Father, and
He will give you another
Helper, that He may be with you forever;
Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
The full rejection and assault on God’s character never stopped His love for us, nor did it impede upon the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Mat 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!
God allows the Unbel to go on ignoring Him & ridiculing His word all the while enjoying the visual stimulation of the world He created, the benefits of touch, taste and human contact, then assuring they have enough of HIS oxygen to get through the day.
- Putting the authority of God’s word above our own desires and ego.
- Learning Biblical humility. Humbling ourselves, before God has to do it for us.Gal 6:3-4 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.
- Stop being conformed to this world.
- Remember your position in Christ.Phil 2:3 Do nothing fromselfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.1Cor 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is THE ONE WHO CATCHES THE WISE IN THEIR CRAFTINESS”;2Cor 6:14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Rom 8:1 Therefore there is now no condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus.
