Spiritual mechanics must be parlayed into spiritual dynamics. Part 7. The Doctrine of the Joints.

Friday, October 10, 2008

COL 2:19 - they are not occupied with the Head [Christ], from whom all the body

Through joints and ligaments [doctrine] being supplied and being taught, keeps on growing from the source of God.

COL 2:21 You shall not have sex; you shall not taste forbidden foods; nor shall you touch anyone for the purpose of harming or killing.

Haphon (joints) = the point of contact that TLJC, the head of the body, uses to communicate with his own body and therefore the teaching ministry of the pastor-teacher.
Sundesmon (ligaments) - used in the New Testament as a bond which holds things together, referring to the doctrine that the joints (P-T) supplies.

The doctrine of the joints and ligaments.
Point 1. The joint analogy to the pastor-teacher.

Joints are those parts of the body where bones or elements of a skeleton join.
Joints permit motion and coordination of the human body.

Ligaments are tissue used to connect joint extremities and ligaments can also be tough tissue used to support an organ of the body in its proper place.

a. They provide motion, coordination, strength, and body action.
b. Joints provide the unity of the body and give it cohesion, because joints are the point of contact and the connection between various parts of the body.

The emphasis of this doctrinal teaching must focus on the mystery doctrine of the Church-age, found in the New Testament epistles.

Point 2. Joints Are the Basis for Exercise and Building Strength in the Body.
a. Without joints, the human body would degenerate and deteriorate.

Without the faithful function of pastor-teachers, the body of Christ or Royal Family of God would lack spiritual growth and retrogress from lack of spiritual food, vitality, and power.

b. Muscle is constructed from consistent exercise, which involves the use of the joints.

The constant use of the joints in exercise is analogous to the faithful and consistent teaching of Bible doctrine by whomever is your right pastor-teacher.

Godliness is simply a lifestyle for the “spiritual” believer or spiritual mechanics parlayed into spiritual dynamics.

It requires self-discipline and organization to execute the PPOG even if you have Bible doctrine as your number 1 priority.

We have exercise used as an analogy to godliness because “exercise” requires self-discipline.

“Godliness” or living the spiritual life is the result of consistency in the perception of doctrine and spiritual mechanics parlayed into spiritual dynamics.

Your happiness depends on godliness or spiritual living.
Your capacity for life depends on godliness or spiritual living.
Your success in life depends on godliness or spiritual living.
Your promotion in life depends on godliness or spiritual living.

The one thing that you have in this life as a believer which will be profitable for you for ever and ever and ever is “godliness” or spiritual living, or the spiritual mechanics being parlayed into spiritual dynamics.

Godliness or spiritual living tones up the spiritual life.

Self discipline =

“Discipline” = to drive on or something performed or practiced in order to develop skill.

1) Self-discipline
2) Assembling together
3) Concentrating on the teaching
4) Good manners
5) Silence.

6) Not commenting
7) Not disturbing
8) Not moving around
9) Objectivity
10) Persistence in spite of distraction.

HEB 5:13-14 For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the righteous word, for he is a babe. But solid food [solid doctrine] is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

2TI 3:16 All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

In the development of physical strength, the joints function against pressure which they overcome.

In the spiritual analogy, in the development of strength, the joints [P-T] function against pressure which they overcome through the function of their own perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

There must be both pressure and the use of that which overcomes the pressure, i.e., the ten problem-solving devices.

You need three things to grow: food, sleep, and exercise.

As a result of the congregation’s consistent perception of the mystery doctrine, the believer becomes the muscle of the body, possessing definition, symmetry, strength, endurance, and coordination.

Point 3. Joints provide body action.

By analogy, every function and action in life must be motivated by thought energy, the divine viewpoint printed on the neurons of the brain in the form of metabolized doctrine.

a. Epignosis is the metabolized doctrine that goes into your right lobe.
b. Sophia is the metabolized doctrine on the launching pad of your right lobe being applied to experience in life.

Joints provide body action, which refers to the believers who grow spiritually, produce, function, glorify God, and become winners.

2TI 4:8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
JAM 1:12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which {the Lord} has promised to those who love Him.
1PE 5:4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

REV 2:10 “Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

REV 3:11 “I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, in order that no one take your crown.”
REV 4:10 the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
REV 4:11 “Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou didst create all things, and because of Thy will they existed, and were created.”
