There is a mission after salvation…there is an expectation to grow & endure long after we enter the Royal Family.

REV 22:12 Behold I am coming quickly and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.

The Lord is the one who searches the mind and brings to each of us a reward or what our deeds have earned us.

Rev 22: 14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter by the gates into the city.

A robegarment gets soiled when we wear it out in the world…it needs frequent cleaning.

THEMELIOS- Greek adj for foundation, a beginning or first principle…institution or system of truth.

1Cor 3:11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

All the nonsense, lies & arrogance are melted away and everything is exposed after the test of fire.

What you do after salvation accounts for so much more than many of us truly realize.

We saw the rich man was distracted with wealth & comfort, worldly lifestyle Luke 16:19-31.

Wealth & power distract those who chase after it and destroy those who obtain it apart from the PPOG.

MAT 19:24 Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Luke 16:14 Now the Pharisees who were lovers of money were listening to all these things and were scoffing at Him.

Luke 16:15 And He said to them, You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men

LUK 16:15b-but God knows your hearts, for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God.

BDELYGMA meaning something foul, usually pertaining to a form of evil idolatry.

Those who justify- DIKAIOO, to be considered righteous, to declare or announce yourself just or righteous.

Power lust….seeking attention & fame, authority is an ego saturating sin that is never satisfied.

Worldly people recognize this point in human history as their heaven. Do not be fooled by the illusions of wealth & power around us right now.

Prov 21:2 every man’s way is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the hearts.

1SA 16:7 The Lord rejects human stature and appearance, the Lord looks at the heart.

1SA 16:11 Samuel knows enough that God doesn’t make mistakes…send for the youngest boy, bring in David.

JER 17:10 I, the Lord search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his
deeds.

PRO 24:12 If you say, See, we did not know this, Does He not consider it who weighs the hearts?

PRO 24:12b- And does He not know it who keeps your soul? And will He not render to a man according to his work?

Don’t let Satan blind you with false idols, power, wealth, empty relationships that distract from eternity.
