"Why does He still find fault?".

Wednesday, August 5, 2009

“Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against the Lord your God, and you have not obeyed His voice,” JER 3:13.

Put off the old man, that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man,
EPH 4:22-24.

So, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be filled with the Spirit,
ROM 13:14; EPH 5:18.

For if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness;
1JO 1:9.

The unbelieving Jews, the legalists, the Judaisers, these people who despise the message of grace are now antagonistic.

Part of the debaters’ technique is to anticipate reaction during a debate and therefore in anticipation to ask a question before the opposition does so.

The debater would answer certain questions that he knew others would have, and use one’s own logical conclusion or reasoning to demonstrate the fallacy of even thinking such a thing.

The future active indicative from the verb ereo
which is ereis meaning to say, to speak, or to conclude.

The future tense predicts an event which is to occur in future time because it is a part of a debaters’ technique to anticipate a question from the opposition.

The active voice: Paul attributes the question to the thinking of the opposition and therefore makes them the subject of the verb.

It is a part of our understanding of the Word of God and an application to our own life that whenever you are under pressure, as Paul was, you must be able to think.

The indicative mood of the verb ereo is potential; it indicates an expression of an impulse.

Then is the adverb of time, eti which means “yet” or “still.”

The tremendous logic and ability of the presentation of Paul begs the question as to why anyone would say “No” all these doctrinal principles?

Pride,

Pride,
Arrogance,

Pride,
Arrogance,
The influence of religion,

Pride,
Arrogance,
The influence of religion,
Self-righteousness,
and Self-justification.

Certain doctrines are resisted individually, and as scar tissue is built up, and blindness or the darkness of the soul is increased, then pride and arrogance is increased.

“fault”
present active-middle indicative of
the verb memphomai which means to find fault or to blame.

1. It is obvious that this debater’s question anticipates objection to such doctrines as the Doctrine of Grace, Mercy, Divine Integrity, Divine Decrees, as well as other doctrines - such as  Election, Adoption, Predestination, etc.

2TI 2:15 says, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2TI 3:16-17,  All Scripture is inspired by God or God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

2TI 4:2, preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

In TIT 2:15, Titus was told; These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you.

NUM 20:10, and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. And he said to them, “Listen now, you rebels; shall we bring forth water for you out of this rock?”

NUM 20:11, Then Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation and their beasts drank.

NUM 20:12, But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you have not believed Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

The pastor’s job is to pray, study and teach.
Your job is to use discernment from the doctrine resident in your soul to determine if the doctrine your pastor teaches is accurate.

You are not designed to teach it to yourself. You are dependent on the spiritual gift of pastor-teacher, EPH 4:11-12.

Your spiritual advance has a dependency upon the accuracy of the doctrine you are being taught.

1. It is obvious that this debater’s question anticipates objection to such doctrines as the Doctrine of Grace, Mercy, Divine Integrity, Divine Decrees, as well as other doctrines - such as  Election, Adoption, Predestination, etc.

2. The objection of the religious self-righteous crowd is obviously irrelevant because it is blasphemous. It blasphemously assumes that God does not know what He is doing and that, furthermore, God is unfair in what He is doing.

DEU 32:4, “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.”

3. Paul anticipates the antagonism of the racial Jew against the true spiritual heritage of Israel.

The racial Jew represents those who are under the Law, the true spiritual heritage of Israel represents those who are under the grace of God.

Law and grace are mutually exclusive principles; therefore, the believer must choose one or the other, as GAL 4:21-31 teaches.

“Tell me now, you who have become so infatuated with morality and lifestyle from the law or the 110 commandments: Have you paid close attention to that law?”

GAL 4:23, But the son by the bondwoman [Ishmael] was born according to the flesh [human plans and ingenuity], and the son by the free woman [Isaac] through the promise [the promise of God or divine ingenuity or power].

The child of the slave woman, Hagar, was born according to the flesh and had an ordinary birth (Ishmael), the son of the free woman, Sarah, was born in fulfillment of the promise, (Isaac).
