There is no word for “us”……he really says “Tell me who it is of whom He is speaking.”
It is true that Judas was born a sinner but he was not born a traitor, PSA 51:5; 58:3.

1. It means at the point of physical birth, every member of the human race has been selected by God to be a member of the human race.

DEU 29:29  “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may observe all the words of this doctrine.

2. Under the principle of selection we also need to note that God “selected” your gender, male or female. The color of your skin and the intricate parts of your human body. Your nationality. Your geographical location.

The dispensation you would be a part of. The time and place of your birth. Your death Your parents.

Because of the character and nature of God and the imputation of Adam’s sin to you at birth, God must provide salvation for everyone to whom He gives soul life to at birth = He provides salvation for all.

Man is born a sinner, he is not condemned as a sinner because of the fact that he sinned, he is condemned because of another man’s sin, namely Adam.

Condemnation must precede salvation, and so the grace of God condemns us all at birth to qualify us to all a need Savior to provide us salvation which God did through His son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Because God condemned us because of another man’s sin, He now provides for all of us perfect holiness and righteousness because of another man’s righteousness.

Under selection, He provides salvation for the entire human race to become elected.

1TI 4:10, Jesus Christ is not just the Savior of those who would believe which falls under the principle of election, but that He is the

Savior of all men, which falls under the principle of selection.

1TI 4:10 “For this reason, we [pastors] work hard to the point of exhaustion, and we hang in there tough [keep on contending], because we have confidence in the living God, Who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.”

TLJC gave Judas his own privacy and right to make the decisions that he made to betray TLJC.

Morsel – “psomion” = a special piece of bread dipped in some meat sauce at the Passover.

No one ever touched this bread until the host picked a piece of bread and dipped into this delicious sauce and then offered it to some person at the dinner….and this was a special honor at the dinner.

The “psomion” ceremony was the ceremony of honoring someone at the table – the final grace appeal to Judas from TLJC.

Not only gave this man his privacy but in offering him the psomion, He offered him the highest honor from the host at the Passover.

Just because we may be totally convinced that a person will not respond to the Gospel, or doctrine, or being treated graciously, that should not stop us from treating them with honor and respect.

Judas Iscariot was the honored guest at the last supper.
