The servanthood of Christ.

In it the spirit of independence shall be allowed to expand to the utmost.

The King Himself would one day demonstrate the superiority of His ways - dependence and servanthood.

PSA 8:3-4
When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,

PSA 8:6-9
You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
Oh Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

The glory, honor, and sovereignty which Satan had stolen in independence and unbelief would be regained by the inferior creature living in servanthood and faith!

Years later the Savior would say, “He who is least among you all-he is the greatest,” LUK 9:48.

The lower creature would achieve by dependence upon God a higher position than the higher creature, Satan, achieved through independence.

It was as MAN that the Savior defeated the enemy. It was as MAN that He silenced the principalities and powers. It will be as MAN that He will reign over the future kingdom of God upon this earth.

It is a glorious reign of servant kings [winner believers] which extends to “all the works of His hands.” The lion will lie down with the lamb, universal righteousness will reign; there will be no war. Disease will be abolished, and the world of Satan will be destroyed forever and placed under the rule of the Servant King and His companions [His kings and lords].

Servant, slave, and giving up your own life.

All believers begin with equal privilege and equal opportunity in the Christian way of life.

Under election, your equal privilege is your royal priesthood in which you represent yourself before God.

Under election your equal opportunity is logistical grace support in which God promises to provide all of your needs.

Under predestination your equal privilege is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which enters you into union with Christ.

Under predestination your equal opportunity is your very own predesigned plan of God, which maps out your path to spiritual maturity.

When she says to the Lord, “Command”, it is in the imperative mood; she isn’t asking; she’s commanding the Lord.

If you go to God with requests that are only to serve your self interest, they will not be answered.

James 4:2-3
You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

When ignorant people ask you stupid questions respond in gentleness, truth, and impersonal unconditional love.

The greatest among you shall be your servant.

The mind of Christ concerning fallen mankind is the ultimate in servant-hood and the ultimate in humility.

The result of Christ’s humiliation was that His humanity would be exalted to the highest position in the universe.

The birth of Christ was a gift to mankind so that Satan’s rulership would be abolished and so that weak mankind would be elevated to the highest places of the universe.

Serve now, recline later; recline now, serve later.

REV 2:26 And he who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.

Servant-hood, or humility of mind, is revealed by your ability to stand by other members of the body of Christ as they endure trials.
