Our God, plus one weak flawed human always equals an unbeatable combination.
In God’s great plan, nothing goes to waste.
JUD 6:1-3, Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD, and for seven years He gave them into the hands of the Midianites. Because the power of Midian was so oppressive, the Israelites prepared shelters for themselves in mountain clefts, caves and strongholds. Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoples invaded the country.
Haman is a descendant of Agag, King of the Amalekites.
“If you persist in remaining silent at such a time, relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from another place, but both you and the house of your father will perish. Who knows? Perhaps you have come to the throne for just a time as this.”
“Let us cut them off…that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
The old saying, the enemy of my enemy are my friends, for now!

JUD 6:6-10 When the Israelites cried to the LORD because of Midian, he sent them a prophet, who said, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I brought you up out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. I snatched you from the power of Egypt and from the hand of all your oppressors.
For Israel it was simple – they had again forgotten God. It wasn’t so much a case of the Lord not being number one in their life anymore… it was a more a case of the Lord not being allowed to play any part in their life at all!
The Lord Jesus Christ, plus one weakling, is always a winning majority in any fight.
”I will be with you”
Before you get involved with serving the local assembly the same is true…you will be a better servant, when your own house is in order.
The number of those who lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, was 300 men; but all the rest of the people kneeled to drink water. The Lord said to Gideon, “I will deliver you with the 300 men and will give the Midianites into your hands; so let all the other people go, each man to his home.”
