Israel was created for a visible historical impact in the Old Testament and in the Millennium through their client nation function.
The Church was created for an invisible historical impact during the Church-age and the times of the Gentiles.
1. You need to observe the times we are living in.
“nation will rise against nation” ethnos = “ethnic group will rise against ethnic group.”
DAN 12:4 Keep this prophecy a secret; seal it up so that it will not be understood until the end times, when travel and education shall be vastly increased!
There would be a Rise in Lawlessness, 2TH 2:7-10.
A Rise in Occultism and Cults, 1TI 4:1-5.
Counterfeit spirituality is everywhere with cults and the subtle overnight acceptance of psychic phenomena, spiritism, Satan worship, witchcraft, nature worship, concerns about the ozone layer, etc.
There would be a New World Order, Rev 13.
Excessive interest in eroticism is a characteristic of the end of a civilization, such as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the flood, MAT 24:36-39.
Just before TLJC comes back, there would be excessive need for excitement, which the games provided for the Romans, and television, theater, and now the Internet provides for our population.
Even the enormously complicated structure of taxation and administration and the “big brother syndrome” is a symptom of the end of this dispensation or civilization.
There is this truly terrible thing that afflicts materialist societies - an excessive boredom.
2. We are getting ready for the next two dispensations, the Tribulation and the Millennium, both of which focus in on the Jew, the new racial species.
A. Israel as the new racial species, getting ready to be the center of the next two dispensations, the Tribulation and the Millennium.
B. The United States as Gods client nation representing the Church or the new spiritual species in the Church-age.
Turn to ZEC 12:1-9
1. The formal presentation of the case: the prosecution presents its case, followed by the defense presenting its case.
The formal presentation of Satans appeal trial corresponds to O. T. history with the Jews as a race and Israel as a nation as the center of the conflict.
The trial phase begins with the fall of man in the garden and continues until the beginning of the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union.
2. The rebuttal arguments of the prosecution [God] followed by the rebuttal arguments of the defense [Satan].
3. The closing argument and summary: first by the prosecution [God] and then by the defense [Satan].
GEN 1:2, MAT 25:41 - Eternal damnation has been prepared for the devil and his angels.
Human history is not only coterminous with the appeal trial of Satan and his fallen angels, but it is the actual courtroom for that trial, and mankind was created to be a part of that trial.
The doctrine of angelic observation, LUK 15:7,10; 1TI 3:16; 1CO 4:9; EPH 3:10; 1TI 5:21; 1PE 1:12.
Israel is in the trial phase of Old Testament history, and the church is in the rebuttal phase of New Testament history.
The rebuttal phase of the prosecution is coterminous with the Christocentric dispensations: the hypostatic union and the Church-age.
