Without a solid grasp of Mystery Doctrine you become lost as a student of God.
You see the age we live in called the Church Age, is in itself a piece of the Mystery Doctrine puzzle.
Every relationship takes effort, time, commitment & personal love to grow. Your relationship with God is no different. In fact it demands more from us.
MAT 13:11 To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them it has not been granted.
ISA 6:9-10, He said, Go and tell this people: Keep on listening, but do not perceive: keep on looking, but do not understand. Render the hearts of this people insensitive, their ears dull, and their eyes dim, Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and return and be healed.
God knows the end result. Free will is the culprit of most human suffering & chaos. How God deals with it is totally up to Him.
Mystery Doctrine means some will be excluded, those who have taken their own free will & ignored God.
Jesus Christ is always the foundation, the blue print for us to follow, the mind we should emulate. Invisible warfare & end time events are key elements within Mystery Doctrine.
Through the gospel not the Law not any rituals or human efforts. We do not learn MD in any other format except NT studies & personal relationship TLJC
EPH 3:10 so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.
Mystery Doctrine not revealed to OT saints, not revealed to fallen or elect angels until this point.
EPH 3:9 and to bring to light - Greek verb PHOTIZO, to illuminate bring to light or make clear. It means to teach until something is very clear.
actinf of the verb PhotizoThe aor tense speaks of the point in time that the pastor presents dispensational truth or what vs 9 calls the administration of the mystery EPH 3:9 and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery- which is OIKONOMIA, overseer of another’s property, dispensation.
Dispensations are another key element of CA Mystery Doctrine. OT saints didn’t realize they were participating in a certain
Dispensation.
There are divine pivot points in human history, ushered in by divine appointments. Each dispensation is marked by them.
1Cor 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will be changed, 52 in a moment in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable and we will be changed.
The Church Age interrupts the Age of Israel (Jews) which was unknown to OT saints & angels until it happened.
The Age of the Hypostatic Union was ushered in with birth of TLJC, but came into fruition with John the Baptist.
MD highlights Dispensations, they are unraveled as we study BD. God wants us to know these deep principles only if we are serious in our relationship with Him.
ROM 16:25 -according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past. But now is manifested and by the scriptures of the prophets
But the reality is not that God is secretive & confusing it is that we are stubborn, in love with self more than in love with God.
We see blindness, hardness of heart concerning Israel during the CA it is also noted as fifth cycle of discipline & part of the mystery. ROM 11:25
Mystery Doctrine is only understood thru function of filling of the HS and Doctrine received, circulating in the soul.
COL 2:2 - It is only through TLJC that all things come to fruition. In Him we find all mystery solved & all conflicts ended.
In choosing leadership within the church Paul stresses to Timothy that the men he chooses should fully understand MD.
1Tim 3:9 Men who hold to the MYSTERY of the faith with a clear conscience. TLJC is the embodiment of mystery doctrine
1Tim 3:16 By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness; He who was revealed in the flesh,
was vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
COL 4:3 praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word,
so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have been imprisoned.
In COL 1:25 Paul again uses the term “I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God”
Christ in you…OT saints never had the intimacy of the indwelling union we have with TLJC.
