The will of God that most believers resist. Knowing no man after the flesh. Part 10.

3. Knowing no man after the flesh.

“according to the flesh” = a reference to knowing or recognizing no one on the basis of our flesh or our own system of human viewpoint.

Not recognizing or knowing others according to the human viewpoint of our own soul or the thought pattern of our old sin nature is that which is in view here.

The results of not recognizing or knowing yourself according to the flesh is manifested by an entirely new and different attitude toward yourself.

Understanding this principle will give you the power to completely change your capacity for love toward yourself, toward God and toward others.

We learn to live in our brand new nature, no longer looking at the members of the human race, including ourselves, the way we use to.

If guilt from the past wrongs is still haunting you and tormenting you it means you’re ignoring God and pushing Him out of your life?

Human viewpoint - guilt and condemnation.
Divine viewpoint - forgiveness and liberty.

You cannot receive love until you first learn to love and forgive yourself.

Once Hosea’s unfaithful wife forgave herself, she freed herself to experience Hosea’s love and to be faithful to him.

Once God’s unfaithful wife, Israel, forgave herself, she freed herself to experience God’s love and to be faithful to him.

HOS 14:4 "I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from them."

LUK 7:47 "For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much;

By forgiving ourselves, we free ourselves to love and receive God’s love. We also free ourselves to receive the love of others.

If guilt is still tormenting you it means you’re easing God out of your life?

Overcoming the guilt or healing from guilt will come after you apply God’s perspective concerning your life.

Results = an entirely new and different attitude toward yourself.

This will produce an entirely new and different attitude toward God, the plan, purpose and policy of God as well as an entirely new and different attitude toward others.

You will learn to live in your brand new nature, no longer looking at the members of the human race, including yourself, the way you use to.

hee (the) agapee (love) tou (of) Christou (Christ) translated the love of Christ.
“of Christ” is the genitive case of Christos, and in the genitive case it means the love that belongs to Christ.

GAL 1:4 He gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us out of this present evil age,
EPH 5:2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
EPH 5:25 Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her;

TIT 2:14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
1TI 2:6 He gave Himself as a ransom for all,

The love belonging to Christ was the manifestation of grace in His soul based upon Bible doctrine.

This type of love is something that can be duplicated in us even though we possess an OSN.
This is when the believer truly believes the phrase, "for us."

GAL 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us--

HEB 9:24 Christ entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
1JO 3:16 We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us;

The love of Christ gives us the proper mental attitude that goes with ambassadorship and witnessing.
In the mentality of the soul, there must be the same grace that you have toward yourself, toward others.

No grace toward yourself means no grace toward others.
No grace toward yourself means no grace toward others.
No grace toward others means you don’t have grace toward yourself.

No love toward yourself means no love toward others.
No love toward yourself means no love toward others.
No love toward others means you don’t have love toward yourself.

No forgiveness toward yourself means no forgiveness toward others.
No forgiveness toward yourself means no forgiveness toward others.
No forgiveness toward others means you don’t have forgiveness toward yourself.

PRO 23:7 has another application, For as he thinks within himself, so he is.

Verse 17 reveals the confidence we should all have from understanding, believing and applying positional truth and how to orient our lives to the grace of God.

The trouble with most believers is that what they are and how they live are contradictory.

You are in Christ a new creature;
You are in Christ a new creature;
A child of a King;
You are in Christ a new creature;
A child of a King;
A member of the RF of God;
You are in Christ a new creature;
A child of a King;
A member of the RF of God;
An heir to the throne;

You are in Christ a new creature;
A child of a King;
A member of the RF of God;
An heir to the throne;
An ambassador for Christ;
You are in Christ a new creature;
A child of a King;
A member of the RF of God;
An heir to the throne;
An ambassador for Christ;
A believer-priest;

There must be no contradiction between who you are and what you are doing.

One of the main reasons why the OSN controls the life of most believers today and why very few believers do not have victory is because they fail to understand the doctrine of the new creature.

EPH 4:8 Therefore it says, "When He ascended on high,"

Upon arrival in the Third Heaven, our Lord was seated at the right hand of God the Father; this is known as the doctrine of the session.
MAT 22:44 The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Until I put Thine enemies beneath Thy feet"’?

He received His third royal title "King of kings, Lord of lords, the bright and morning star."
1TI 6:15 He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords;

REV 19:16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a title written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

This third royal title had no accompanying royal family, the Church-age was inserted for the calling out of a royal family.

a. The royalty of His deity, by virtue of the fact that He is eternal and infinite God.
b. The royalty of His humanity, by virtue of the virgin birth, Incarnation and First Advent.
c. The royalty of His Hypostatic Union, by virtue of His strategic victory at the cross.

PHI 2:9-11 Therefore also the God has highly exalted Him to the maximum, and bestowed on Him the name or rank which is above every name, By means of the office, rank and dignity belonging to Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven, on earth and under the earth. and that every tongue should acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, resulting in the glory of God the Father.
