4 cups of wine.
I will take you out of slavery.
I will save you from the oppressor.
I will redeem you.
I will take you as a nation.
The cup of redemption is the one we celebrate during the LORD’s supper.

The LORD and HIS Disciples drank the first 2 cups. But the third cup the LORD did not drink from, nor from the fourth. The third HE had no need of as HE did not need to be redeemed. But the Disciples did. The fourth HE will drink with us in Heaven.

The Anointed ONE anointed by the Father would be crushed for our iniquities and it all began in the Garden of the olive press, Gethsemane.

Without the vine, no fruit could ever result. Branches are utterly dependent upon the vine. Without Christ, there is no spiritual life or hope of eternal reward (JOH 14:6; ACT 4:11-12).

Even Jesus, when praying that night in the Garden, asked that the cup pass from him, but HE ended the prayer as we should, “your will be done.” Not easy to do always. But ask what you desire, but desire GOD’s will.

The Trinity, there is one Triune GOD existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Each person of the Trinity is equal and each possess the same attributes and of course perfection.

2CO 13:14, The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

Things are gonna get real interesting and you need to remember that you are in ME and I’M in you and if you remain that way you will be fine.

JOH 14:1-4, Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.”

1CO 15:13, If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.

1CO 15:17-19, And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.

51-52, Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

When the LORD came out of the tomb, these were the first people HE would encounter at least that’s recorded for us. And what an encounter it was.

Here’s an example of branches that were drying up, they were not abiding in Christ. They didn’t see the script turn out the way they wanted it to and so they gave up. Or were in the process of doing so.

If the disciples, who had lived with him and witnessed the events of HIS remarkable life, needed such an explanation, you can be sure that there are still those who get it wrong.

In JOH 12:16, “at first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him”.

MAR 11:8-10, “Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, ‘Hosanna!’ ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ‘Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!’ ‘Hosanna in the highest!'”

They were looking and still are looking at 2 peaks and they see them as one, they see the coming of the Messiah. They are still looking for it. They missed the first one.

So, to the Jews, the King they had been waiting for to free Israel had come.
And HE had, but this time as a suffering servant to save man from SIN.

MAT 23:39, “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'”

REV 2:17 “To him who overcomes…I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows except him who receives it.”

GOD promises those who overcome that they will have:
Eternal Life,
New Name,
Authority,
Become Holy and Blameless,
Be in HIS Presence Forever,
and sit on HIS Throne.

I am the vine you are the branches remain in ME. Endure, I’m victorious remain in ME you, are victorious.
