The Hypostatic-union

As we continue our study on the Doctrine of the Dispensation of the Hypostatic-union, I would like to give you a guideline to follow in a Chronological order so that we can all be on the same page together.

First of all, once again, Chronology is a term used to display an arrangement of events in the order that they occur and concerning the study of the history and the dates of past events. That is a little bit different of the previous definitions that I have given you already. So, to do this correctly, we need to look at the historical records or privileges that are supported by learning and metabolizing the word of God so that we are able to fulfill the “Divine Call” from the grace and mercy of our Lord. Never forget that all of us have been elected and then called by our Lord to serve, honor and to obey Him no matter what the price may be.

Therefore, in ROM 8:28-30, And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first‑born among many brethren; and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

So, never forget that all of us have been elected and then called by our Lord to serve, honor and to obey Him no matter what the price may be.

I want to give you an outline to follow concerning what we will be studying concerning the dispensation or the period of time that our Lord was on this earth. I have 15 different categories which we will follow concerning our Lord and the calling of God upon your life. And, as we will note, this dispensation concerning our Lord is a unique dispensation in which we are said to be “the called ones of Jesus Christ; ROM 1:6, among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;

1CO 1:22-24, For indeed Jews ask for signs, and Greeks search for wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Now, as I have been trying to, I want all of you to recognize that you have been called by our Lord, as well as been chosen or hand-picked  by our Lord which means that you are a special individual with a special calling from our God.

1PE 2:9, But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

So, we have about 15 different categories to study concerning our Lord and the call of God. Now, some of these principles that we will note, you may have heard some of these things before while some of you will be hearing certain doctrinal principles that you never heard before. I just wanted to give you an outline for you to follow if you want one. As the apostle Paul has taught in such a fantastic way, consider the passages that our Lord places before us so that we can grow by means of His grace and His knowledge. And this has been one of the main reasons I have spent a lot of time on the introduction to our subject of the Doctrine of the Dispensation of the Hypostatic-union because it focuses upon one of the most important dispensations of all, and that is the dispensation of the Hypostatic-union. This is such an important principle of doctrine seeing that it leads us to our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who is coming back to set up His kingdom on this earth. And so, as we continue going forward in the spiritual life we need to be prepared and to keep on going forward, and to be the alert as we are living the spiritual life because of Him.

Now, as most of you know, there is no problem too big that God cannot solve it. There is no mountain too tall, that God cannot move it. There is no storm too dark, God cannot calm it. There is no sorrow too deep, He cannot soothe it.

Now, one of the most vital dispensations is the one that our Lord reveals that – it is one of the most important dispensations that has been ignored by a lot of believers and yet one of the most vital Dispensations we have in the ‘Word of God.” In fact, the epistle of the Philippians is one of the most gracious passages found in the “Word of God” that also ministers to all of us if we desire to be ministered to. Let me point out some of these principles of doctrine so that we all will grow together as we want to worship our Lord and bring honor and glory to Him as a part of us growing spiritually. And that is something that is very vital for us to listen to or to learn from – which also contributes the power we need to understand our Lord as well as the place and the role that believers who are serious about the calling of God have upon their life. This is another reason for us to go forward in the plan of God. That gives us balance in living the spiritual life that our Lord places before us.

Look at PRO 11:1, A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, But a just weight is His delight.

We all need to make sure that we have a balanced life, not a life filled with chaos and fear but a life that has balance in the person’s  life.

Why?

PRO 11:2-3, When pride comes, then comes dishonor, But with the humble is wisdom. The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the falseness of the treacherous will destroy them.

We need to have balance in our life and by balance I mean that we are not to pick up and choose the doctrines that we are to learn and study or the doctrines that we like. We are to listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church.

Why?

Because, when it comes to The Word of God, we need to look upon what our Lord has to say to us not what we want Him to say. For example,  in PRO 30:5, Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. For example, look at some of the reasons that we have to keep certain blessings and promises in front of us – as we grow in the “Word of God” which is “Alive and Cooking” as our Lord has taught us many times before. Now, one of the main functions of living the spiritual life is that we are to master the principles of Bible doctrine so that we can “hear or see” the life of God in the souls of man.” And, this is just the beginning of our spiritual life as we keep on plugging along waiting for the Lord and His timing. This is when some of the major principles found in the “Word of God” become alive in us as manifested by the fact that there is no problem that is to big for all of God’s people. God not only provides doctrinal answers for us but He also provides everything that we need to understand the doctrine so that we simply need to apply what we have learned. His desire for us goes way beyond what we think or what we know, His desire for us is to learn from each other how to know what we need to know because there is a spiritual solution to any problem that we may face.

One of the principles of blessings is to love our Lord with the guidance and directions that come from our Lord which falls back on the doctrinal conclusions that come our way from learning and growing in the image of God. In fact, this is one of the main attractions of living the spiritual life. And so, before we go on learning and living the spiritual life, we are going to look at the doctrines supplied for anyone of us to be able to use the appropriate doctrinal information that our Lord has supplied for all of us, no matter who it is.

Now, as we begin this introduction to the dispensation of the Hypostatic union,  we need to also recognize that this section of the “Word of God” is a question concerning Chronology which is a part of the” order of the Divine Interpretations of the passage or the principles which we have been studying. In fact, we now have the privilege of studying certain passages and principles that our Lord wants us to “learn and understand” so that we would be able to know and to execute certain doctrines.
