Hello kids! Today we are going to learn about Abraham.
Abraham is an example of the people who had faith in God and His promises.
At 75 years old, God told Abram to leave his country and family to the land He would show him and he would be blessed greatly.
Abram’s faith was so strong he went and was permitted to bring Sari, his wife, Lot and a few others.
It was through Abraham’s line the Lord Jesus Christ would come so of course God had to give him a son.
He knew God was faithful. Friends are patient with each other. God being our friend gave Abraham time to grow.
He is patient with your growth too. God will never say to you “That’s it! You are growing too slow, I’m out of your life!” He will never leave you.
Each day that you study and learn the Word of God you will get to know more of Him. Your love for Him will grow.
You will start to see Him in your life and the more you do you will learn to trust in Him above all others. When will you see Him?
The answer is in times of troubles. You will not understand why things are so hard. God has given you the Holy Spirit to guide you through these times.
You will get afraid and become impatient, Abraham did too. You will think of things to do, but learn patients. Sometimes it’s just the next day your answer will come.
Wake up each morning and talk to God. Tell Him you don’t understand things but you want to be like Abraham and have faith in Him.
Ask to be guided during your day to do the Father’s plan. Abraham waited 25 years for his promise of his son, Isaac. Keep your eyes on the Lord and He will fulfill the desires of your heart.
