Hello kids! Today we are going to continue to learn about discernment.
Do you remember how I told you that you need God in the forefront of your mind?
Well one day, in the Garden of Eden Adam and Eve forgot what God had said.
He said, "Don't eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil".
They didn't remember, or they forgot about what He said. So before you got saved you had no discernment.
You had no truth in your soul to teach you the difference.
Now that you are saved, (yippee) God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are inside of you.
The Holy Spirit is there to give you the power to learn. Jesus' word is there to comfort you and you live in God's perfect plan.
You are now able to learn His word and start building up those truths in your soul.
The more you get in your soul the better you will be able to discern between the two different kinds of wisdom.
Wisdom from heaven comes from the mind of Christ. Wisdom from the earth is from every evil thing.
Use the thinking of the Lord. Discern!
"But a natural man does not accept
the things of the Spirit of God, for
they are foolishness to him; and he
cannot understand them, because
they are spiritually appraised."
(1Co 2:14)
