Hello kids! Today we are going to learn about Christ’s love for you.
He suffered because He loves you. He did this to show obedience to the Father.
He also suffered so He would understand the suffering you will go through.
He was homeless, rejected by family and friends, and physical hurt as well.
As a man, He suffered more than you or I would ever on the cross. He did that so you could have the chance to be with Him in heaven.
When you are being treated badly by friends, Jesus wants you to turn to the scriptures like He did.
He would always quote something that already had been written. He did this to show you what to do.
He also had the power of the Holy Spirit with Him all the time. With that power you can get through the worst pain, the worst loss, and the worst fear.
And you have the Holy Spirit in you from the moment you believed in Jesus Christ!!
He wants you to call on Him for strength or when you are sad and need a boost! Jesus wants you to trust in God, your heavenly loving Daddy!
"For just as the sufferings of Christ
are ours in abundance, so also our
comfort is abundant through Christ."
