Adorn: to beautify or decorate
Malice : means to want suffering to come on another
Hello kids! Today we are going to learn about how to adorn your heart.
You can choose a lot of different things to decorate: your Christmas tree, jewelry on girls, awesome sneakers for boys.
These were outside adornments. The most important parts of you to adorn are your heart and mind – inside adornments.
What? How do I do that? When you are first born again you become a new person who is in Christ.
God gives you all you need to decorate that new inner man. In the word of God are God’s instructions on how to make your heart beautiful.
You can’t do it alone. God the Holy Spirit is in you also to help you understand how. You have to be willing to though.
God will not force you to do this. How do you become beautiful? God wants you to put aside anger, wrath and malice.
You have to have your mind filled with the word of God so that the Holy Spirit will be able to help you with your choices.
God tells you to forgive one another. It actually is harder to stay mad then to just let it go. Ask yourself, will this be important tomorrow or next week?
Then you just have to go up to that person and say, “Gee I’m sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you”.
Or is you were hurt you don’t have to wait for him to come to you, show him God living you by going to him and saying, “Gee did you really mean that?
Maybe we can just talk about it. I like your friendship and don’t want to lose it.” This is using His word to solve your problems.
The Holy Spirit will remind you, you will see. The most important part is getting His words inside of you by studying every day.
Your prep school teacher or your parents can help you to. Pray to God every morning before you get out of bed.
Ask Him to help you know the right things to you. You will start to see Him more and more in your life.
