Weekly Review Dispensation of the Mosaic Law.

The greatest function of the Supreme Court of Heaven was the judgment that took place on the Cross.

DAN 7:9-10, Daniel receives a vision concerning the Supreme Court of Heaven. Daniel writes: “I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow, And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, It’s wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat [that is the Supreme Court Judge took His seat], And the books were opened.”

Now, the books that are opened are books that are the records of every member of the human race who have their entire lives completely documented. This means that your life is already finished in the heart of God. You and I are just working out that which he has already worked within.

PHI 2:13, for it is God [the Holy Spirit] who is at work in you, both to will and to work above and beyond His good pleasure.

PHI 1:6, For I am confident of this very thing, that He who has begun in you an absolute good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.

1TH 5:24, Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

JOB 23:14, “For He performs what is appointed for me, And many such decrees are with Him.

1CO 15:10, But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

ROM 8:29, For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first‑born among many brethren;

And so all these books are written about our life, from the beginning to the end. And it is these books that the Supreme Court Judge uses to evaluate the cases that are brought before Him. The fact that God keeps a record and books concerning human history is found throughout the Word of God.

For example, we read in REV 17:8, “The beast that you saw was and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth will wonder, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast, that he was and is not and will come.

Or in REV 20:12, And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.

REV 21:24-27, And the nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory into it. And in the daytime (for there shall be no night there) its gates shall never be closed; and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; and nothing unclean and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

So, a number of passages in the Bible refer to a book called the “the book of life,” a figurative expression that originated in the ancient world. For example, an ancient custom was to keep the various kinds of genealogical records as in a book known as a book of life as in NEH 7:5.

This was a natural book for all residents who were born. They would also have a book of life for registering citizens for numerous purposes, (JER 22:30; EZE 13:9).

Therefore, when it comes to books, God is represented as having records of men, of their works, and of God's dealings with them. And one such record is called “The book of life.”

In addition to the book of life, there are other categories of records or books mentioned in Scripture.

These are: (a) Book of Wars: NUM 21:14. This was a collection of war songs celebrating the glorious acts of God on behalf of Israel.

(b) The Book of Jasher: Jos 10:13; 2Sa 1:18. This was an early chronicle of the history of Israel.

(c) Book of Remembrance: Mal 3:16-17; Psa 56:8.

PSA 56:8, Thou hast taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Thy bottle; Are they not in Thy book?

I've always liked MAL 3:16-17, Then those who feared [respected or reverenced] the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who respect the Lord and who esteem His name. And they will be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “on the day that I prepare {My} own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. [divine protection]

This was a book of remembrance for special blessings and rewards for faithfulness.

(d) Book of Those Physically Alive (a dooms day book):

EXO 32:32-33, “But now, if Thou wilt, forgive their sin‑‑ and if not, please blot me out from Thy book which Thou hast written!” And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

This refers to a register of the physically living. To be blotted out meant to experience physical death; (Exo 17:14; Deu 29:20; Psa 9:5-6.

(e) The Book of Works: Rev 20:12-13.

This consists of a record of the deeds of unbelievers as a basis of their judgment proving they all fall short of the righteousness of Jesus Christ; Dan 7:9-10; Rom 3:19-24.

Point 5. The Royal Family Honor Code is directly related to the Supreme Court of Heaven.

ROM 12:14, “Bless those who persecute you; bless and curse not.”

The word bless is eulogeite which is a pres-act-imp and it means to speak well of, to honor. And who are you to bless? Bless those who persecute you; Persecute is the Greek word dioko, which in the present tense, they habitually pursue after you, they persecute you, and the participle tells us that their purpose is to make you miserable and to persecute you.

Meanwhile, you are to impersonally unconditionally love them, speak well of them, and honor them! So, ROM 12:14, Bless those who persecute you; bless and curse not.

Curse not or do not curse means do not wish evil against them, or do not persecute or ridicule them!

ROM 12:15-19, rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another [doctrinal viewpoint]; do not be arrogant, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation. Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace or live in harmony with all men.  Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

Do not make someone else's problem of treating you unfair your problem by getting out of fellowship and reacting. Through the arrogance or emotional complex of sins, you have ruined your own case before the Lord. This is why you never slander, malign, gossip about, or judge another believer. Whatever discipline should have gone to the other person, now comes to you because of your verbal sins.

ROM 12:20-21, “but if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with the [absolute] good.”

You function in grace and don't retaliate while the supreme court of heaven handles your case. As vs 20 says, if your enemy is hungry, feed him, if he is thirsty, give him water. This refers to a desperate need that an individual has and the believer who operates in the Royal Family Honor Code fulfills that need when possible. And, when it says that you will pile coals on his head, that can either refer to an ancient custom of giving coals to keep a fire going, or the mental pain and shame that takes place from being treated with integrity by another.

ROM 12:21, “stop being conquered by evil, but conquer evil by means of the absolute good.”

The absolute good includes the function of grace in the Royal Family Honor Code and putting on the breastplate of righteousness. The Royal Family Honor Code or putting on the breastplate of righteousness demands grace orientation and grace as the procedure and policy.

By feeding your enemy when he is hungry, the believer leaves hostility from others in the hands of the Lord. This is tantamount to dependence on the integrity of God rather than on revenge and retaliation. This is also the function of impersonal love. The Royal Family Honor Code never mandates the believer to stoop to the level of vindication, implacability, hatred, arrogance, or bitterness toward other believers. The benefits of grace demand the function of grace.

We have been benefitted by grace, therefore we function by grace. Retaliation interferes with the justice of God punishing others. And, if you get in the way, punishment is often postponed. Retaliation lowers the believer to the level of his antagonist. Therefore, never reduce yourself to the level of what you despise in others.

The Royal Family Honor Code demands that we never stoop to the level of evil, or be overcome by evil. When we stoop to the level of evil, we are overcome by that evil. The Royal Family Honor Code demands the high standards of grace orientation.

Overcoming or conquering evil by means of the good (ROM 12:21) is the motivation of grace orientation and the procedure and policy of grace function in the Royal Family Honor Code.

ROM 12:21, do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

This demands three applications:

  1. Grace orientation. [P.S.D. 4]
  2. Impersonal love for all mankind. [P.S.D. 7]
  3. Occupation with the person of Christ, [P.S.D. #10].

So, let's note some principles on this lesson

  1. Nothing you can say in your own defense when dealing with implacable and vindictive persons will ever do any good. That's why they're implacable and vindictive.
  2. You cannot defend or justify yourself to implacable or irrational persons.
  3. Therefore the matter must be placed in the Lord's hands for the proper function of the faith rest drill.
  4. Once placed before the supreme court of heaven through the F.R.D., the outcome must be left in the Lord's hands.

This means that you do not seek to justify yourself before God, or complain about the other person or persons involved in your problem. And, you do not seek to justify yourself to other people or complain to other person or persons. What someone says to you about someone else may or may nAt be true but it's not your business, it belongs in the supreme court of heaven and the person is only bringing disaster to themselves.

  1. Remember that the function of the F.R.D. Is designed to place the problem in the Lord's hands for a solution and vindication, and to leave it there.

DEU 32:35, “Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, In due time their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is near, And the impending things are hastening upon them. For the Lord will vindicate His people, And will have compassion on His servants; When He sees that their strength is gone, And there is none remaining, bond or free.”

God makes war against the proud, but He gives grace to the humble, and remember we are talking about born again believers. What type of believers hate God? The believer involved in the sins of the arrogant complex and the sins of the emotional complex. We have literally millions of born again believers who are in some form of mental illness, and they hate God.
