Christmas Celebration  – Part 4

Miracles are from GOD!

Eternity Past, Age of Gentiles, Age of Israel, Hypostatic Union, Church Age, Tribulation, Millennium, Eternal future

Before you begin this Bible study, If you have never believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior, John 3:16 tells us: “ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.’ Simply have faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and you will have eternal life and be saved. If you have believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior; then 1 John 1:9 tells us; “If you confess your sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Simply privately tell God the Father your sins to be filled with God the Holy Spirit and He will teach you Bible truth. Promise Memory Verse

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

This verse above really happened and was a miracle!

Let’s think about all of the different miracles we have learned about in the past few weeks that took place in a little town called Bethlehem concerning the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

In eternity past, God the Father came up with a plan to save mankind and provide eternal life. God the Son decided to become a human being that would remain without sin to rescue us and God the Holy Spirit was the one who made it possible for Mary the virgin to give birth

to baby Jesus. All three member of the Trinity had a special part in making this happen. This was a miracle.

Isaiah the prophet described in the Bible a young virgin named Mary having a son and even mentions His name 700 years before it came true in Isaiah 7:14.   This is a miracle because the Bible tells us what will happen in the future.

Micah the prophet tells us in the Bible that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem; it came true 700 years later. Micah 5:2. This was a miracle because the Bible tells us the future.

An angel by the name of Gabriel visited young Mary the virgin and she was told that God the Holy Spirit would give her a Son named Jesus. This was a miracle.

An Angel of the Lord visited Joseph and told him all about the son that God the Holy Spirit was giving to Mary so he would not be upset with her. This was a miracle.

An Angel of the Lord visited the shepherds that were taking care of their flocks near Bethlehem and told them that our Savior who is Christ the Lord was born and then thousands or possibly millions of angels sang praises. This was a miracle.

When Jesus was a toddler living in a little house in Bethlehem, a star appeared to some wise men from a faraway place named Persia which showed them the exact spot were the Jesus Christ the king of the Jews would be. This was a miracle

An Angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream telling him to get Jesus away from Bethlehem and to go to Egypt. This was a miracle because King Herod had all of the other boys age 2 and under killed.

The Bible is the Word of truth and is alive and powerful and it’s packed full of true stories from the past and even tells us things about the world before God made people.

One of the most unique things about the Bible is that it tells all about the future. Did you guys know that one day Jesus is going to make the environment perfect again and all of the rivers will be so clear that we will be able to drink from them! This will be a miracle. He is even going to take away cancer and make everyone so healthy that they will live for a thousand years. This will be a miracle. He is going to make ferocious lions as tame as baby kittens. This will be a miracle.

2020, is one year, we will probably never forget! We all need a miracle from God for this virus to be over. We all want our lives to get back to normal. God understands everything we are going through with wearing masks, not seeing friends, going to parties or playing sports. He knows how we feel about remote learning one day and going to school the next day and how it feels for the rules to change every day.

Let’s make 2021 very special by rebounding when we sin, learning Bible Doctrine and remembering God’s promises so that we can use the faith-rest drill. God wants us to come to Him when things bother us. You may even want to make a promise notebook so that you can totally understand God and His miracles.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, now is the time to look at your memory verse at the top of this lesson. Simply tell God the Father that you are believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior and you will get the best miracle of all, eternal life.
