Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery.
Let's Talk About Sex. The Conclusion.

EXO 20:14, “You shall not commit adultery” refers to sins like fornication, prostitution, homosexuality, human sacrifice, group sex, demonism, rejection of authority, cultural degeneracy, bestiality, lesbianism, incest, masturbation, merchandising sex, etc.

Remember that one of the main reasons why I have spent so much time on the influence of sexual sins over the life of the believer is to answer a vital question: Is the Phallic cult still around today?

To understand more we have been answering a few more questions about the Phallic Cult. We have noted the principle of Nehushtan and the fact that the Jews made an idol out of the means God used to deliver them and therefore rather than worshipping God they worshipped the means, the bronze serpent.

Look at 2KI 18:1-4, Now it came about in the third year of Hoshea, the son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah became king. He was twenty‑five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty‑nine years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah. And he did right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father David had done. He removed the high places and broke down the sacred pillars and cut down the Asherah. He also broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the sons of Israel burned incense to it [a form of worship]; and it was called Nehushtan.

It was nothing but a piece of bronze but they were too much in bondage to the ways and the things that God operated in that they missed out on the Blessor because they were occupied with the blessings. All because of their negative volition toward doctrine.

Here King Hezekiah got rid of the local fertility shrines, smashed the phallic stone monuments, and cut down the sex‑and‑religion Asherah groves. As a final stroke he pulverized the ancient bronze serpent that Moses had made; at that time the Israelites had taken up the practice of sacrificing to it‑‑they had even dignified it with a name, Nehushtan (The Old Serpent).

However, the main problem here is that they worshipped the means rather than the person, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, in many cases, we have our little idols of God built right into our soul and if God does something to upset our little idol, or box, or concept, then our idol becomes the judge rather than the promises from God in the promise land.

Whether or not you enjoy victories over the giants in your promise land depends upon the type of information that you allow within your soul.

I believe there are passages like PSA 101:7 that have an application to us even though it was written to a previous generation. Notice what the writer said in PSA 101:7, He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house [Satan practices deceit and he dwells in the house of those who allow human viewpoint and demonic influence within the home]; He who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his position before me.

David is saying that no one who traffics in lies gets a job with me;

He says in effect, “I have no patience with liars.”

So, Be careful how you hear!
Be careful of what you hear.
Even be careful with that which you see.

The first one, be careful how you listen in LUK 8:18 “Therefore take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him shall more be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him.”

The next one, be careful what you listen to, MAR 4:24, “Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it shall be measured to you; and more shall be given you besides.”

And then we have a statement about our Lord and Savior in ISA 11:3, “He will delight in reverence toward the Lord, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make a decision by what His ears hear;

Do you want to get rid of some of the “false gods” from effecting your life then practice the following advice. Do you want to get rid of some of the “giants in your promise land” from effecting your life then listen to what I am about to say.

ROM 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this cosmos or cosmic system of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

1JO 2:15-17, do not love the cosmic system   Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Don't love the world's ways.
Don't love the world's goods.
Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father.

1JO 2:16, For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

Practically everything that goes on in the world, the cosmic system‑‑wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important‑‑has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from Him.

1JO 2:17, And the world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God abides forever.

The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out‑‑but whoever does what God wants is set for all eternity.

1JO 2:18, Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen; from this we know that it is the last hour.

Time is just about up and the antichrist is coming as well as many others antichrists are all over the place, antichrists everywhere you look. That's how we know that we're close to the end.

1JO 2:19, They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, in order that it might be shown that they all are not of us.

They left us, but they were never really with us. If they had been, they would have stuck it out with us, loyal to the end. In leaving, they showed their true colors, showed they never did truly belong.

1JO 2:20-21, But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

John says “I haven't been writing this to tell you something you don't know, but to confirm the truth you do know, and to remind you that the truth doesn't breed lies.”

So again, notice what the writer said in PSA 101:7, He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house [Satan dwells in the house of those who allow human viewpoint and demonic influence]; He who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his position before me.

Think of it! It may sound stupid and corny! However, if we interpret the passage under the principle of application not interpretation we could say something that sounds like this: PSA 101:3, I will set no worthless thing before my eyes [even such minute illustrations like TV]; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not fasten its grip on me.

He refuses to take a second look at corrupting people and degrading things. He had been rejecting the Canaan gods and he says “Stay clear of cosmic contamination.

PSA 101:6, My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; He who walks in a blameless way is the one who will minister to me.

Note that David said that he had his eyes on the “salt‑of‑the‑earth people,” the faithful of the land, they're the ones David wants to work with. Men and women on the straight and narrow‑‑ these are the ones you I want at your side.

PSA 101:7, He who practices deceit [Satan controlling the cosmic system through deception] shall not dwell within my house [Satan dwells in the house of those who allow human viewpoint and demonic influence to rule or reign within the house];

Notice we must be careful concerning what we allow in our homes. You know most of God's people limit God because He does not fit into their box. We say this will never change...but, this will!

Whether you like it or not or believe it the things that are impossible with man are possible with God. Apply these principles to the giants in your promise land I guarantee you that you will be victorious.

You will begin to believe MAT 17:20b, “For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you.”

You will begin to believe that if you have just a little faith, you shall say to the giants in your promise land; “Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you.”

Why?

The merit is not in the faith you have but the merit depends upon the One you are having faith towards, and therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ. Concerning the problems one may have when faced with the giants in the promise land we read; MAT 19:26, Jesus said to His followers; “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

MAR 9:23, And Jesus said to him, “'If You can!' All things are possible to him who believes.”

The question you need to answer is whether or not you truly believe.

MAR 10:27, Looking upon them, Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”

LUK 1:37, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
